Chapter 2

ALESSIA

You are a professional, Alessia. Don't act scared. You are here to do your job.

I whispered the words to myself and took a bold step forward, reaching for their files on the desk.

My eyes widened at the diagnosis: sexual dysfunction. Them? Impossible. They all had a reputation for sleeping with any female wolf they wanted-and often together. So what exactly was the problem?

I swallowed hard to steady myself as I turned to face them, but my heart wouldn't stop racing. These triplet Alphas were not ordinary men. They were known for violence, cruelty, and enjoying fear. No one crosses them and walks away safe. And now I was alone with them. I need to stay calm.

"Are you scared, doctor?" Asher teased, a wide smile on his face.

Even though I had never crossed paths with them before, I knew their reputations; in fact, everyone knew. They were identical in face, height, and those striking green eyes, sharp jawlines-but their hair differed.

Asher had black hair. The youngest, playful in tone but brutal in action.

Axel had dark brown hair. The second-known for bending people to his will through fear.

Azriel had a mix of black and dark green hair. The eldest... He is quiet but the most dangerous of them all. They were inseparable, and everything about them screamed control and violence.

"Where's that old man... or are you our new remedy?" Axel teased.

"Blackwell really knows how to pick a pretty remedy," Asher scoffed.

"What do you think about taking care of all three of us, doctor?" Axel's voice cut in.

My blood boiled in disgust. These men are unbelievable. Whatever their problem was, it wasn't sexual dysfunction-they needed a psychiatrist, not a doctor.

"You can do it here, doctor. I'm also curious how those lips would feel wrapped around my cock," Axel added.

"Enough," I yelled.

The room went silent instantly. The three of them exchanged amused glances.

What have I done? I just shouted at the most dangerous Alphas alive... I'm going to die here?

No, no, I cannot let that happen.

"Wow, little bunny," Azriel said as he rose slowly, "I think my wolf likes your orders."

My eyes widened. What kind of nonsense was that?

What the heck is wrong with him?

"Sit back," I snapped again, my voice more sharp this time.

He paused. His brow lifted slightly, then, to my shock, he obeyed-returning to the couch without resistance.

"Wow, doctor... you're something else. You can even calm my wolf, Kade," Asher whispered, his breathing uneven.

These men are crazy. I just need to do my job and get out of here.

"You are all interrupting your treatment," I snapped again.

They all exhaled and leaned back comfortably, their eyes still fixed on me like they could tear me apart at any second.

"Go on, doctor. We won't interrupt again," Azriel said calmly.

I swallowed hard and stepped closer to Azriel. My hands moved toward his torso as I examined him.

Damn it... these men look like gods. Perfectly built, dangerously handsome.

But sexual dysfunction? That's impossible.

"Any pain?" I asked, pressing lightly against his abdomen.

His body tensed instantly, his throat bobbing.

"Not there, doctor... move it a little lower," he growled, his wolf clearly surfacing beneath his control.

I pulled my hand back immediately. "Have you lost your mind? I can't-"

"You're a doctor, remember?" Asher cut in. "We're patients. It's your duty to treat us."

My pulse spiked.

This was too much. Something about this situation was wrong, and the longer I stayed, the worse it felt. I turned quickly to leave.

"Not so fast, doctor," Azriel's voice stopped my steps.

My grip tightened on my lab coat as I forced myself to steady my breathing. I turned back to face them, plastering a smile.

"I'm a doctor. I have other patients waiting. If you refuse to cooperate, I can't continue here."

Azriel stood, slipping his hands into his pockets as he walked toward me. His steps were slow, controlled, and dangerous.

My eyes betrayed me for a second, dragging over his abs shamelessly; I quickly snapped out of it and focused my attention on his face.

I must be going mad. They must have enchanted me. Their words were getting into my head.

His fingers brushed over my hand, and a shiver ran through my spine. My heart raced as he took my ID card and read it.

"Alessia Costa... from the Shadow Moon Pack," he whispered, nodding slowly.

Asher's voice cut in immediately. "Shadow Moon Pack has such beauty. That's unbelievable."

I don't know why, but the way they called me "beauty" made something warm rise inside me.

"But unfortunately, their Alpha is a weak scumbag," Axel added flatly.

A soft laugh escaped me before I could stop it.

Their brows tightened in confusion. I quickly swallowed and forced my expression back into something serious.

I didn't even understand why I was engaging in conversation with these heartless beasts-or why I found it funny when they insulted my husband. That was insane.

"Your treatment is over; you can all leave," I said firmly.

The moment the words left my mouth, all three of them shook their heads at the same time.

"No, doctor. We can leave-but you can't," Axel said flatly. "You just discovered our greatest secret, that the triplets have a dysfunction. So you can't walk out of here alive."

My eyes widened in shock as my knees nearly gave out. What the heck...

"Come on, Axel. You're scaring the beauty. Kade isn't happy with that," Asher added.

Wait... I'm going to die?

Yes, my life is a mess-but I still have things I care about. I still save lives. I can't just die here.

"What do you want from me?" I snapped, my voice trembling.

Azriel stepped forward. I stepped back until my back hit the cold wall. He closed the distance immediately. My chest raced no matter how hard I tried to stay composed. His scent wrapped around me, pulling me at something I couldn't understand.

He leaned closer to my ear, his breath uneven. My grip tightened on my coat as heat built inside me.

Wait... Why am I reacting like this?

"You just have to cure us, doctor. Then we'll leave your life for good," he said.

"H...how can I cure you when you're not cooperating?" I stammered.

He stepped back slightly, his eyes slowly dragging over me before returning to my face.

My breath hitches at the weight of his gaze.

"You don't have to treat anyone else," Azriel said slowly. "From today... you belong to us. Our exclusive doctor. No other patients."

My breath caught in my throat.

That's totally impossible; has he lost his mind?
