The Tragic Love and Hate, without Anger or Delusion

During the eight months of Laura's pregnancy,she was always on business trips.The number of days she spent with me could be counted on two hands.

I was worried about her safety and wanted to accompany her,but she refused for various reasons.Then I knew that the so-called business trip was just an excuse for her to keep Richard by her side.

Tens of thousands of photos recorded everything from Richard's pregnancy to childbirth.I had never let Laura cook,but she made nutritious meals for Richard and accompanied him for walks and shopping.

Laura even held her vomit after being sick,and her affectionate eyes seemed to be looking at a rare treasure.

I had begged her many times to name our baby.However,she always took a long time to reply to my message,"Honey,we don’t need to think about it now.I'm very busy.Let's talk about it after he is born."

I put down my phone in despair and bought myself a plane ticket to go abroad in three days.I returned to the hospital bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.

I used to be touched by her thoughtfulness.She was always thinking about my food even when she was not around.

I didn't say anything.Still,I had decided to leave,so we’re heading to the house.When I arrived at the house,I saw my mother-in-law and Richard holding Ares and teasing him.

Richard was well-dressed in a high-end limited edition and looked so gorgeous.My mother-in-law totally gave everything of Richard’s well-being.

Richard saw me and said to my mother-in-law in a sarcastic tone,"Aunt,don't be so nice to me.People will think I am your son-in-law.Alaistor will be jealous."

My mother-in-law followed his gaze and looked at me.I was still wearing the bloody clothes from the day of the accident.She said in disguised,"Can’t you buy proper suites?You look embarrassing.Did you do that on purpose for our family?Look at Richard.He’s a real man and father.I’ve already considered him as my own son.He’s much better than you.You’re hypocritical!"
