Chapter 1

On our tenth anniversary, my husband said he had a surprise for me.

I waited for him all night with a nosebleed, but he stood me up.

Disheartened, I called him, but his assistant answered.

"Mr. Garcia will be with me tonight; you don't mind, do you?"

Hearing Luna's coy voice, I was disappointed.

"I don't mind. You can have what's left of him."

I hung up the phone, tears streaming down my face.

Levi, I'm dying, do you know that?

Early the next morning, Levi returned looking cheerful.

Seeing me lying on the sofa looking exhausted, Levi spoke indifferently.

"I'll take a shower. Prepare the clothes I need to wear."

I didn't respond, staring blankly at the pile of blood-stained tissues in the trash can.

Soon, Levi came out after his shower, frowning slightly.

He then took a property deed out of his bag and placed it on the coffee table.

It seemed that the surprise he mentioned was the deed to our villa.

When he bought this villa, he never told me about it.

It was his personal assistant, Luna Taylor, who chose it, and it was initially transferred to her name.

Even the villa's interior design was handled entirely by Luna.

What was worse, Luna even hung her own photos on the villa's walls.

Sometimes I wondered who the real mistress of this house was.

On the day I moved in, I smashed all of Luna's photos.

I argued with him about this several times, and he just said he didn't want me to tire myself out, so he let Luna handle it.

A year after moving in, he finally remembered to transfer the deed.

He even considered it a surprise for me, but now, I didn't want it anymore.

I looked at him expressionlessly.

"Levi, let's get a divorce."

Levi thought he misheard and looked at me in surprise.

"What did you say? Divorce?"
