The Sinful Wife Weaves Deceitful Love
Chapter 2
I thickened my face and patiently coaxed her, preventing her from making a scene with my parents.
"Okay, if Eden has any other needs, contact me and let me know in advance."
"Hey, kid, why are your eyes red? Why are you crying?"
After we parted, my mom finally saw my face clearly.
"It's nothing, just thinking about getting married makes me emotional."
I used Dick's words to cover it up.
My mom chuckled, called me a silly boy, and went off to busy herself.
I returned to the bridal chamber and called Dick to the balcony.
I crouched against the wall, lit a cigarette, handed it to him, and asked.
"Where's Hale?"
He took it, crouched beside me, took a deep drag, and said.
"I don't know! It seemed that his sister called him away."
Hale's sister, Lillian Brown, was Eden's bridesmaid this time.
It seemed that in the previous life, they might have been involved long ago. Otherwise, what would a groomsman be doing at the bride's house at this time?
I didn't believe Eden's family lacked helpers.
Seeing my unfriendly expression, Dick tentatively asked what was wrong.
I slowly exhaled a smoke ring, turned to him, and said.
"The only brothers I can trust now are you and John."
Saying this, my eyes turned red again.
After my death, only the two of them cried heartbrokenly. Hale hugged Eden and laughed.
"Daniel, no matter how better you are than me, your wife still chose me!"
Anger made me crush the cigarette with my bare hand, my fingers instantly burned.
Dick was shocked and asked what happened.
"If I told you Hale and Eden are having an affair, would you believe me?"
I asked him with a self-deprecating smile.
He stood up in shock.
"What?!"
I gave a bitter smile, "They are together behind my back. Though I don't have solid evidence yet, I need your help."
Dick left a sentence and ran off.
"Damn it, even if you say there's a sun at night, I'll believe you! I'm getting John!"
