Everyone looked at me in shock, asking how I could be so cruel!

"You couldn't keep the baby yourself, so how can you blame Vincent? Shouldn't you reflect on why you can't lay eggs yourself?"

Vincent looked at me with bloodshot eyes and hurt expression:

"Eleanor, is everything Scarlett said true? Are you going to get revenge on me for your daughter's death?"

I instinctively shook my head in denial.

But no one believed me.

The policeman also shook his head and advised me to look forward and cherish what I have now.
