The Model's Ex-Fiance

Emily finally realised what a nightmare she was in. She thought she was going to be enjoying the wealth, fame and glory that came with being Justin's woman.

She was wrong, she really was.

Justin had ordered her phone to be confiscated and she wasn't allowed to take one step away from the house. She once dolled herself up and tried to go out of the villa to show off as his woman but she was coldly stopped at the door by the leader of the group of bodyguards, Ian.

"Boss said you should obediently stay inside and give birth to the baby. You are not allowed to take a step out of the villa until then"

"What? I am not allowed to take a step out? Have you all gone crazy? I am the mother of his unborn child! You dare to treat me this way?"

Emily shrewly screamed and raised her hand to slap him.

Ian coldly stopped her staring at her stomach while cruelly spitting out these words,

" You wouldn't want to lose your bargaining chip as early as this right?"

Emily instinctively went to wrap her arms around her stomach. It was not because she was actually protective of the child but she was afraid of losing whatever hold she had on Justin.

Ian curled his lips coldly at Emily and told her off,

"Don't ever dream of walking through the Walters' doors. We will accept only one mistress and that is Miss Nina. You... are not worthy to be our mistress."

Emily staggered when she heard Ian's words, his words ringing in her ears.

" Take Miss Nina inside. Remember she is not allowed to take a step out of the house. Any who dares to disobey the order should be prepared to face the boss' wrath. Understood?"

The maid hired to take care of Emily and the remaining bodyguards all answered respectfully,

"Yes Sir Ian, we are all loyal to the master. We would not dare disobey him"

Emily's heart sank to an all time low as she watched the determined and loyal faces of the maid and guards. If Ian had not given that order, she was really planning to bribe the maid and bodyguards to take her out of this prison. Yes, prison. Her life was no better than a prisoner now. She dreamt of living the high life when she plotted against him but he retaliated by making her a prisoner. He could kill her silently and no one would ever know or even ask. After today, she could kiss freedom goodbye.

She was doomed.

By her own greed.

As the maid came closer and grabbed her. She could feel her freedom slowly fleeing her, she panicked and screamed hysterically,

"Tell Justin to come see me! I am the mother of his child, he can't just do this to me...." Her remaining words cut short when the maid lightly pushed her into her room and slammed the door shut.".

Her muffled voice could still be heard from the door but no one bothered about her.

Top Floor

The hallways and offices all seemed like graveyard. It was so silent that it was disturbing. Everyone walked quietly and slowly to avoid provoking the big devil at the top. Since a month ago, the boss suddenly went crazy, employees had to work overtime every day and if they couldn't cope, they were asked to politely resign by the boss' executive assistant, Larry.

You are gossiping during work hours? Resign!

You made a mistake during a presentation? You are demoted!

All this resulted in everyone working conscientiously, presentations were checked over and over again to prevent a single mistake.

Everyone was overworked but no one dared complain. You couldn't get a single job that paid and gave employees incentives as well as W Corps. So obviously no one was willing to resign.

Larry looked worriedly at his boss, his shiny beautiful hair had turned messy, heavy eye bags, a result of severe insomnia, pale skin, a result of not taking a step out of the office unless it was for a very important business meeting, if not Larry would be the representative. He sat lazily on his chair, the usually well-ironed shirt had already come undone at the collar and creased at the edges. He looked a total mess, different from the man who usually was.

The man practically lived in the office, he had an en suite in his office.

He would take a shower and sleep for a maximum of 1 hour and if so much as a noise sounded, he would completely wake up. So yeah, he literally lived at the office.

His body already showed signs of

breaking down but he didn't dare to say anything to the man.

He could only employ help.

He fell into thought, he already told Justin's mother, Mrs Walters earlier in the day. And predictably the woman was irate but mostly worried and scared. She was afraid of losing her son just like she lost her husband so she was bound to call any moment from now. He really prayed she did because apart from Nina she was the only one who could talk sense into him.

As if the woman heard his silent prayer, Justin's cell phone rung.

Larry panicked when he saw the man frowning obviously he thought it was Larry's phone ringing, he rushed to explain to prevent being punished.

"Boss, it is your phone ringing" He said pointing at the table.

Justin's frowned dissipated as he looked at his phone, picking it from the table, he frowned at the caller ID. but he picked it anyways.

"Mom" His voice sounded hoarse from disuse.

"Justin Walters, BETTER GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!!"

She hung up.

His mom never called him his full name unless she was very angry and she was VERY angry.
