Chapter 4

Not long after he called the base, a young man entered the room causing all eyes to turn to him but he didn't even act like we all existed just walked straight to where the scar man was.

In a whisper quiet audible, I heard him say, “Sir the place they would stay are ready, you could give a few sectors to me so I could take them to settle down.”

The scar man didn't answer him just peered at us before he looked back to the young scholars and said, “You take the first three, I'm taking the base to there territory, make sure to report to the guards, if any body defiles your order, don't hesitate to shoot dead, we don't want any mistakes.”

The boy nodded and stood akimbo like he was waiting for some orders while we just stood like robots waiting for the next call of action.

Already embarrassed with the day and with all the surprises, I don't think anybody would look surprised if they decide to shoot us all because they feel like it.

Scar man rubbed his forehead and looked around the room like he was in a thought but shook his head, standing up straight he decided to talk.

Pointing to the young lad beside him we all followed his hands movement like we were being controlled.

Which of course we were.

“This young lad here, would take the test of you to where you would reside for the rest of the day, while I take the base!”

Seeing that we were paying attention he continued, “Have enough rest by tomorrow, you would all be told the basics here and the rules, so you don't go around crying and disturbing other inmates at night, Boy?”

The young fellow looked up to him immediately he was summoned in a straight posture.

“Take them and make sure they are settled down” Facing us he snapped his finger.

“If you know you're not of the base move along, Now!”

I heard feet scraping as every other person that wasn't the base starting following the boys out.

They were about fifteen of them all cleared out, we the base aren't much too, just six people.

Who were also looking… well I don't have a word for the emotion they all feel but terrified would do.

As they door went shut!

Scar man turned to us with a grin, looking at us one after the other like he had won something special.

His dark gaze finally landed on me and I straightened up my back like it was a Normal thing to do.

But what the fuck do you do when you have someone who could practically murder you for breathing wrong?

Still staring at me like he picked an interest on me or he knew me from somewhere, he suddenly asked, “What's your name, girl?”

Keeping a stiff face I answered, “Lucy”

He titled his head aside like he was thinking about something but suddenly shook his head again, “You've for fire in that eyes of your’s and I like it, Are you one of the maids?”

I shook my head not uttering another word.

He hummed seeming not satisfied with my question he went again, “So what are you then?”

Biting the sides of my cheeks to stop myself from cussing the fuck out of the oblivious fool that was among those that murdered my parents, I opened my mouth to talk but a voice spoke way too soon and stopped me.

“She's our Masters daughter” the voice sounded fragile to the ear but even a dead person couldn't deny the irritation that came with the way the person answered.

Not wanting to know who it was, I stood just like I did.

Scar man just stared at me, “ Well that's quite unfortunate for a girl your age to lose her parents at such blossom age but life goes on.”

Breathing out he turned to the others, asking of there names and work they did for my dad while I just couldn't move my muscle.

I heard a clap and turned my face to see Mr. Scar making sure we were listening.

“The rules of this place are quite tough for the base but you'd survive if only you're strong enough to fight your way up, we don't care about gender her, who ever wants to get the attention of Master”

Hearing that name made my ears perk up and the hatred I had for him made my body to start shaking as I clutched the short I was wearing waiting for scar man to finish his statement.

“Who ever wants to get the attention of Master must have to fight there way up!, To be worthy enough to see his face, you have to spill blood, so what do you say I show you off to your base, Hmm”

Some nodded while most didn't, my legs just Started moving as the door was opened by scar man and I just followed suite not having control of my body.

I was possessed with one thing that was forbidden for man to get grown into them, Vengeance.
