Savannah wiped away her tears and stood up.

"You wanted me to see that video you uploaded, didn't you? You couldn't just keep it hidden. You had to show off your vanity, and now you've made sure I had no choice but to see it."

Brielle snickered. "You've finally figured it out. You're much sharper than you were a few years ago. I've never understood it. Both of us are sponsored by Grandpa Finnley, yet you and Camden have everything handed to you while I'm not even allowed to study abroad."

She then deliberately flashed the pink diamond ring on her finger and flaunted it. "Wyatt let me choose between a brooch and a ring. Since I picked the ring, the brooch must be with you, right?"

Only then did Savannah realize the brooch Wyatt had given her before bed was nothing more than Brielle's leftover choice.

Not that she cared. In the end, it would meet the same fate as all the designer bags and jewelry she was going to sell off to fund her plans to leave the country.

"We were both orphans, but everything I longed for came to you effortlessly. Now, it's your turn to experience the same. But that's not all, Savannah. I'm going to make you lose everything."

With an unreadable smile, Brielle suddenly grabbed Savannah's wrist. Savannah instinctively tried to pull away, but Brielle jerked her arm hard and fell backward.

They were standing at the top of the stairs, and there were no safety railings. The next instant, both of them lost their balance, screaming as they crashed down the steps.

Blood pooled beneath Savannah, soaking into the floor in an eerie spread of red.

Wyatt was the first to hear the commotion. He saw Savannah and asked, "What are you doing awake?"

Just as he wanted to approach her, he was interrupted by Brielle's voice.

"Wyatt... my chest... it hurts so much..."

Wyatt snapped back to his senses and spotted pale-looking Brielle lying on the floor beside Savannah.

Frantically, he ran to her side and carefully lifted her into his arms. He comforted her nonstop, saying, "Brielle, it's okay. I'm taking you to the hospital right now!"

His voice quivered with panic and concern.

Meanwhile, Camden also noticed Brielle's frail condition and hurriedly dialed 911.

Savannah was writhing on the floor and whimpering in pain. She wanted to call for help, but the pain was so overwhelming that no sound escaped her lips.

Just then, Chase rushed over as well, his face filled with worry and fear. His eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he ran straight to Brielle's side and cried, "Mommy, what's wrong? Does it hurt?"

All he could think of was that Wyatt had told him he had to protect Brielle and never let anyone bully her. He ran over to Savannah and kicked her twice.

"You're evil! Why… Why did you bully my mommy?"
