The Ex-Wife's Vendetta
The Ex-Wife's Vendetta Chapter 1
Cassandra
My name is Cassandra Walker, but that changed after my marriage. I am now known as Cassandra Adams. I'm currently 20 years old and happily married to Wesley Adams, one of the most eligible bachelors in New York. Wesley, who is 23 years old, is not only the owner of top companies worldwide, but he also built them through his hard work and in collaboration with his father's businesses.
Let me share the story of how we first met.
FLASHBACK
Our story begins at college. Wesley was in his final year, while I was just a first-year student. Although we had crossed paths a couple of times, it was one incident that changed everything.
Wesley emerged as a true gentleman and my savior. One day, while I was crossing the road to reach college, a car suddenly appeared, speeding towards me. Frozen in shock, I found myself unable to move despite having checked the road before crossing. Out of nowhere, someone pushed me to the side of the road. Thankfully, I only ended up with a scraped elbow. When I turned around to thank my rescuer, I was surprised to see Wesley Adams dusting off his jeans. We had never interacted before, so his presence shocked me.
Despite my insistence that I was fine, he insisted on taking me to a nearby clinic to get my elbow checked. I stood there quietly, not knowing what to say or do. It felt incredibly awkward for me, as the person who had saved me was none other than Wesley, the crush of the entire college. Any girl would have envied my situation.
After the doctor confirmed that my elbow was fine, he dropped me off at home and asked for my number. From that point on, we became close friends. After months of friendship, he asked me out. Despite being aware of his reputation as a playboy, I accepted his proposal. Deep down, I knew that I had developed feelings for him. It felt like love at first sight.
Our first date was incredibly romantic, and by the end of the day, Wesley asked me to be his girlfriend. It felt like a dream come true, and without hesitation, I replied with a resounding yes. It was an unforgettable day that marked the beginning of my love for him, which grew stronger with each passing day. I could sense that our feelings for each other were mutual.
Around a month after our first date, Wesley graduated and joined his father's company, while I continued to navigate my first year of college. Despite our different circumstances, we had no trouble finding time to be together. We made it a point to go on dates every weekend. Wesley was everything I had ever wanted: sweet, caring, and gentle. I gradually fell deeper in love with him. He was the first to express his love, as I was initially hesitant to admit my feelings, fearing rejection. The day he confessed his love for me, I felt like the happiest woman alive.
After a year of dating, he surprised me with a proposal. It took a few moments for it to sink in, but when it did, tears welled up in my eyes, and I joyfully said yes. It was one of the most special days of my life. Wesley made my life beautiful. However, he didn't want a long engagement, so we decided to get married just two weeks later. I knew it seemed rushed, but as Selena Gomez once said, "the heart wants what it wants." We had a grand wedding, with thousands of guests in attendance.
The venue was stunning, almost magical, adorned with a color theme of Ivory and Maroon. I wore a beautiful white off-shoulder gown with a sweeDanicart neckline, adorned with lace sleeves. The back of the gown featured a corset style, and a long train trailed behind me. I felt absolutely gorgeous in it. Seeing Wesley waiting for me at the end of the aisle felt like a dream come true.
We are incredibly happy with the way our lives have unfolded, and we hope to have children in the future.
END OF FLASHBACK
It has been two years since we got married, and I still can't believe how quickly time has flown by. Wesley has always been a tender, sweet, romantic, and caring husband to me. The spark between us is still very much alive. This is everything I have ever dreamt of, and now all I desire is to welcome a baby into our lives.
