“All these years, you've been missing. If it weren't for me taking care of your mother, she would have died long ago!”

Hearing Jared’s words, I let out a cold, mocking laugh. “This is how you took care of my mother?”

I pointed toward the doghouse and fixed him with a piercing stare.

Jared lowered his head, saying nothing, but the flicker of panic in his eyes gave him away.

“Jared, look at me!”

Mary’s voice suddenly rang out from the side.

“He attacked me the moment he arrived! I’m covered in injuries!”

She rushed up to Jared, clutching his arm dramatically.

“Jared, you have to stand up for me!”

Seeing Mary's expression, Jared's face was filled with concern.

“Hailee, you’ve gone too far!”

“How could you attack Mary without provocation?”

He looked at me, his face filled with anger.

But looking at Jared’s expression, I was too exhausted to even feel angry at that moment.

As our eyes met, Jared’s face grew even more flustered under my icy gaze.

However, she quickly regained her composure.

“Hailee, what do you think you're doing?”

“Let me tell you, Hailee, for no reason, you assaulted Mary. Just for that alone, I could kill you!”

She coldly looked at me and said, “Hailee, apologize to Mary immediately!”

“Additionally, since you're back, I'll sign the divorce papers with you!” "

As she spoke these words, I replied coldly, “Divorce is fine! But do you think simply telling me to divorce you is enough?”

Seeing my indifferent expression, Jared hadn't had time to speak yet, but Mary quickly interjected, “Hailee, what else do you want to do?”

“Sign the papers and leave immediately!”

Upon hearing this, Jared's expression turned cold as he looked at me and said, “Hailee, sign the divorce papers immediately!”

“Then take your mother and leave!”

As he spoke, Jared turned to the people behind him and said, “If she doesn't want to divorce me, force her to do so!”

As soon as those words left his mouth, the bodyguards behind him immediately prepared to charge toward me.

As I watched the bodyguards rush toward me, my expression grew increasingly icy. They had no idea how much trouble they had gotten themselves into.

Just as I was about to act, suddenly, the villa’s front door was violently kicked open. Immediately, I saw a group of armed men rushing into the villa.

“What are you doing?”

Seeing so many people rush in, Jared and Mary froze in shock. Then, Jared roared angrily, “Who let you in!”

However, the others didn't bother to respond to Jared. Instead, they walked up to me.

“Miss Brie, we've been sent here on orders!” one of them reported firmly.
