Freida appeared in front of me with food.

She smiled coquettishly and greeted, “Terrie? What? Are you here to see your room? Sorry, Calvin said pregnant women are the most important, so this room has been given to me.

“If you're looking for any trash, you might want to look in the trash can. There's none here.”

The garbage she mentioned was the gift that Calvin once gave me.

I sneered at the corner of my lips and looked at her, “Freida, what you treasure may not necessarily be a treasure to me.

“I can give you the house and the man, but remember, something that is snatched away will be snatched away by others too. You are not his first woman and you will not be the last.”

Freida's face turned cold and she smashed the rice plate in her hand.

“Why are you pretending? You've been played around by men, so you can only talk tough!” she snapped. “You don't need to persuade me, Calvin will only choose me.” 

“If you don't believe me, you can see for yourself!”

As soon as she finished speaking, she screamed and ruffled her long hair.

She ran towards the terrace and jumped down.

Her only remaining arm supported her weight. As the cold wind blew in the rainy night, Freida cried more and more miserably, “Terrie, why do you treat me like this?”

Without waiting for my reaction, Calvin kicked the door open.

He rushed forward in two steps, pulled the person up from outside and held her tightly in his arms.

Coming back to me again, he angrily slapped me in the face.

“Terrie, you're not done yet, are you?”

Freida hid in his arms, holding her stomach tightly with both hands and her voice was weak as she pleaded, “Terrie, I have already admitted my mistake to you, why can't you let me go?

“The child is innocent. When the child is born, I am willing to die to atone for my crime. Please spare the bloodline of the Hatfield Family."

I frowned tightly and was about to speak, but Calvin had said coldly first, “Terrie, kneel down!”

I looked at him in disbelief and asked in disbelief, “You doubt me?”

After putting Freida on the bed, Calvin turned and walked towards me, his eyes full of ruthlessness as he confronted, “Shouldn't I be suspicious of you? 

“First you sent Freida abroad and then you pushed her on purpose. This is the third time!

“Terrie, what can I trust you with?”

The love that once existed disappeared at this moment.

Without giving me a chance to explain, Calvin quickly left the villa with Freida in his arms.

I cut up and burned all the photos on the wall one by one.

At twelve o'clock late in the night, the agent sent a message, [Ms. Williams, someone wants to buy the house at the original price, without your discount. When do you think you have time to sign the contract?]

[I'll sign it tomorrow.]

I fired all the servants in the villa. Luckily, for a whole week, Calvin never showed up again.

From time to time, photos of him taken secretly by passers-by were leaked from the hospital.

Either he was registering at the obstetrics and gynecology department, or he was getting medicine for Freida on the first floor.

On the morning of the wedding day, Calvin drove the wedding car to the villa to pick me up.

As he opened the door and saw a strange face, his brows furrowed instantly when Calvin asked, “Where is Terrie? Who are you?”

The assistant hurried over from behind, running out of breath. He immediately explained, “Mr. Hatfield, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you. This house has been sold by Miss Williams.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Calvin's face turned pale as he questioned in disbelief, “How is that possible?”

He took a few steps back and looked carefully at the decoration outside the villa. It was still the same as before, but why had the owner changed? 

The assistant's words echoed in his ears, “Miss Williams is going to marry into the Clayton Family today.”
