I had a long-lost twin sister who looked exactly like me. One day, she invited me to her Mating ceremony with her mate Alpha Caleb Harrison.

Excited to finally reunite with my sister, I dressed up and arrived at the Hall where the Mating ceremony was taking place but I was almost beaten to death by her mate and his pack members.

“You bitch! We’re getting married today but last night, you cheated on me! Today, I’ll show everyone how cheap you are!”

I was dragged roughly in front of the pack members by Alpha Caleb my sister’s mate and a video of my sister’s affair was played on the big screen!

No matter how much I tried to convince them that I wasn’t her, no one believed me.

Only then did I realize my sister invited me to her Mating ceremony because she wanted me dead?

When I die, she would finally take my place as Luna and inherit all my wealth.

But what she didn’t know was that the Grand gathering hall where she planned to hold her Mating ceremony was owned by my mate, a powerful Alpha in the region – Alpha Gabriel Reeves.

As soon as I arrived at the entrance of the Gathering Hall, my phone buzzed, it was Vanessa.

“Cassie, are you here yet? Are you wearing the red dress? I want you to look perfect today! It’s my Mating ceremony but you should shine too. I’ve missed you so much!”

We have been separated for many years and I’ve missed her so much. For her Mating ceremony today, I also prepared a priceless Jade Necklace that I wanted to put on her myself.

I had called my mate, Alpha Gabriel Reeves as soon as I arrived at the compound of the Gathering Hall and asked him to have someone place two bottles of expensive wine on each table for Vanessa’s Mating ceremony.

Gabriel was happy when he learned that Vanessa was getting married at his Grand gathering hall and had agreed to help with the Mating ceremony arrangements.

He also promised that he’d come later to personally congratulate Vanessa and her mate, Alpha Caleb.

The Grand Pack gathering hall where the ceremony was to take place was owned by him, though Vanessa wasn’t aware. Gabriel, my ever-supportive mate had helped me arrange the decorations for the event, wanting everything to be perfect for my reunion with my sister.

As Vanessa’s sister, I wanted her to shine so bright at her wedding. I also wanted it to be a surprise to her.

“Yes, I’m here,” I replied with a smile “Where are you? I’ve got a special gift for you.”

“I’m still doing my makeup,” she said “Don’t worry, you’ll see me in a bit. Just go to the main hall now. I’ve arranged a special seat for you at the main table. You know you’re my favourite Cassie, and I love you so much.”

I was deeply moved by her words, and I knew our reunion was going to be beautiful.

Our parents had broken off their mate bond and rejected each other when we were still pups. I stayed with our father, while she stayed with our mother. As a result, both of us haven’t seen each other for more than ten years and I cherished her a lot.

So, I was super happy that she was finally getting joined to the man of her dreams today.

For a moment, I felt disappointed. I wanted to see her before she met with the crowd but I pushed it aside. Sighing, I dropped my phone into my clutch and made my way to the main hall where the ceremony would take place.

I spotted my name and my seat on the main table, right at the front with a clear view of the Mating altar. I had barely settled into my chair when my hair was forcefully pulled by someone. Before I could understand what was going on, the person yelled.

“Vanessa, you lying, cheating bitch! How dare you show up here,” the person snarled. “Today, I’ll show everyone how cheap you are! You had the guts to cheat on me, Vanessa, now that you’ve made me lose face, I’ll make you pay for it!”

The hand on my hair was so tight that for a moment, my mind went blank and confusion flooded my senses. I couldn’t understand what was happening.

At the same time, the pack members in the hall were also confused and started whispering amongst themselves.

“What’s happening? Is the Mating ceremony off?”

“Isn’t that Vanessa? Why is Alpha Caleb so angry?

“This is insane. I’ve never seen a Mating ceremony like this before. I’ve seen mates showing affection at Mating ceremonies, but I’ve never seen a Mating ceremony where they fight.”

So, it was my sister’s mate – Alpha Caleb- pulling my hair? He dragged me in front of the pack members, his grip on my skull was so hard that tears streamed down my eyes.

After dragging me in front of the pack members, he pushed me to the ground, I felt a thousand pairs of eyes staring at me – I was so embarrassed.

He turned to the pack members and yelled “I don’t care about my reputation anymore as an Alpha. All I want is for everyone to see the slut Vanessa is.”

I sat on the ground, still too numb to understand what was going on. All I could gather so far through my frayed nerves was Alpha Caleb calling Vanessa names, saying she was a slut. I felt so sorry for my sister.

Mustering the courage, I faced him.

“What do you think you’re doing? What is going on here, Alpha Caleb?”

The words were barely out of my mouth when a slap landed on my cheek.

“You bitch!” he yelled “How dare you ask me that? Don’t you know what you’ve done?”

I held my smarting cheek my heart sinking in realization. He thought I was Vanessa!

“No… you’ve got it… wrong,” I gasped. “I’m not ….”

He slapped me again; this time I fell to the ground.

“You think I’m wrong?” he sneered “Fine! Let’s show everyone just how wrong I am. Play the video!”

The big screen in the hall turned on as loud, slapping and moaning sounds filled the air. It was a video of me – or rather Vanessa having sex with a man.
