His Secret Lover's Life was Switched with A Dog for My Life
Chapter 4
“Since you guys truly love each other, I'll fulfill your wish to happen.”
I took the divorce papers out of my bag and threw them in his face.
“This is the divorce papers, sign them in front of a lawyer! I wish you two a long life and a happy marriage!”
Brian obviously did not expect that I actually prepared all the information so fully. He didn’t react for a moment. However, a second later, he and Emilia looked at each other and sneered at me.
“Angeline, I've long had enough of being with you, divorce is divorce! But let me sign these unequal netting agreements to leave the house empty-handed, don't be delusional! Aren't you that capable? You sue me!”
I knew that he was thinking that I didn't have a few days to live and wanted to drag me to death. If I really wanted to file a lawsuit against him, it was bound to take a bunch of time. I won't even be able to file a lawsuit before Emilia succeeds in exchanging my life. Emilia also hooked a cold smile at the corner of her mouth.
“Angeline, you're so brash and unreasonable, no wonder Brian doesn't like you! People who act so arrogantly like you do, sooner or later, you're going to get punished!”
Her words were filled with sarcasm towards me, as if she was waiting to see me laugh. Unfortunately, her calculations were going to fall flat after all. Only the next day, Emilia was seriously ill and entered the hospital.
In the hospital, the doctors exhausted all means and even some old professors checked her condition. But all of them shook their heads and sighed, saying that they had never seen such a strange disease. There was no way the hospital could only take conservative treatment, but Emilia's condition did not improve at all. She was lying on the hospital bed and even made a few barks from time to time, scaring the nurses who didn't dare to come close. Emilia’s body was getting weaker and weaker and on the third day in the hospital, she was given a critical notice by the doctor. Brian finally realized something was wrong and rushed back to find me.
“Angeline, don't you feel uncomfortable?”
Brian stared straight at me, wanting to find something different from me. Unfortunately, he was ultimately disappointed. Not only did I not get sick, my body was very good instead.
“I'm not, I even went for a physical yesterday, my whole body is healthy!”
I smiled and looked at the man in front of me. These days he had been accompanying the hospital, his whole body was bearded and wretched.
“Emilia is sick, is it you who is messing around?”
He stared at me with a deadly gaze, finally fixing on my neck, suddenly bursting into a rage, pointing at me and asked angrily, “Angeline, where is the necklace on your neck? Where did it go?”
