The House Surveillance Captured My Husband Cheating with His Secretary
Chapter 2
Three days later, I appeared at the door on time. James stood at the door rubbing his hands unconsciously, as if he was trying to coax me after every argument, with a shy smile on his lips.
If it were before, I might poke the dimple on his left cheek and say, "James! There won't be a next time!"
James would hold me and say, "Belinda is the best girlfriend in the world, I will never make the same mistake again!"
Coming back to consciousness, I looked at him coldly, he smiled shyly and let me in to sit down.
I still went in, adhering to the basic principle of not hitting people who smile at me.
The room was tidy, except for the wedding photo on the wall that couldn't be restored to its original state for a while. James found replacements for everything I smashed and put them back in their original positions.
Just like a broken mirror, when it was glued back together, we hope it would be restored to its original state.
"Belinda," James poured water attentively and called my name.
"I was wrong about this, but..."
"Fine, if you admit it," I crossed my arms and sat on the sofa, Joyce stood behind me.
I waved my hand and Joyce handed me a document.
I pushed it in front of Song Kexing, indicating for him to read it carefully.
Tang Yu raised her face and explained to him, instructing him on how much money he should return to me.
With each word Joyce said, his face turned greener.
Until the end, he looked at me incredulously and asked, "Belinda, are you... breaking up with me?"
I was even more surprised than him. "James, how despicable do you think I am in your eyes, that I would still be nice with you after you did such a thing?"
"Am I so lacking in men in your eyes?"
James hurriedly explained.
"No, that's not what I meant, honey."
I took a deep breath and didn't feel like wasting any more words with him. For people who couldn't see the situation clearly, all I need to do was show them through my actions.
Then I clapped my hands, and a group of bodyguards filed in.
It was so crowded in the room that even turning around was difficult.
"Throw everything in this room, all men's stuff, including a series of group photos and couple items, all! All into the trash can downstairs."
James stood up suddenly and came forward to stop me.
"Honey, don't do this, don't do this."
I watched him in front of me with red eyes, watching our photos being thrown out one by one, watching his things being cleared out of this house. For a moment, I wanted to let it go.
Just let it go.
But the hatred in my heart didn't fade. How could he!? How could he treat me like this!?
I turned my head and said, "A week later, I hope you can transfer this money to my card. The name on the property certificate of this house is mine. I will sell it within a week. If you have enough money after paying me back, I will sell it to you."
James couldn't afford it. His family background was average. Now he could finally marry me, and he could think about bringing his parents to live here for a while.
I was not asking for a lot of money from him, just the principal I used to support him back then.
But it was not easy to come up with it all at once.
With red eyes, he asked me, "Belinda, do you have to force me to death?"
I just want to smile. I calmly replied to him, "James, only children who cry get candy. I don't cry, but it doesn't mean I don't feel the pain."
