Sunset Sinking Into the Sea
Chapter 1
Zea fell in love with her step-brother, but was repeatedly rejected after expressing her feelings.
On Zea’s birthday, Theo brought his childhood sweetheart and forced Zea, who suffered from stomach disease, to drink a full glass of strong liquor.
The moment Theo missed the ambulance that was treating Zea, Zea finally decided to give up.
But when she really left, he despised her and cursed her, but begged her to come back to him like crazy.
——
“Zea is our Guzman Family’s adopted daughter. Even if I like anyone, I will never like her. Unless the sun rises from the west, I will never marry her in this life.”
Theo sat in the gray box, holding a glass of wine in his hand and drinking it all, his tone full of disdain for Zea.
Zea stood at the door, holding her mobile phone tightly in her hand.
The screen was still on and the text message on it was clearly visible. It was sent by Zea’s uncle.
“Zea, your room is ready. Uncle hopes you can seriously consider coming to Chark to live with me. No matter how good the Guzman Family is, it is not your home after all.”
Zea looked at the man she had secretly loved for ten years through the transparent glass and the excitement in her heart gradually came to an end. It was time to put an end to this relationship that ended in vain.
Zea opened her mobile phone and quickly replied to her uncle: [Okay, uncle, I will deal with things here as soon as possible and go to Chark to find you.]
As soon as the message was sent, her uncle called. “Zea, you finally agreed to come to Chark. I’m so happy. Do you want me to pick you up?”
“No, uncle, I haven’t finished my work here yet. Give me a month. When I have handed over everything, I will go to find you.”
Zea’s eyes always fell on the man with superior looks in the box. “You can also get together with your friends during this month, especially the Guzman Family. You should talk to the Guzman Family. They have been very kind to you over the years. If they feel uncomfortable, you can talk to me. I can give them the land project in Esterport as compensation for taking care of you for so many years.”
Zea nodded lightly, without any joy in her eyes.
“See you in a month.”
Before the phone was hung up, a tall figure stood behind Zea at some point.
“Who are you going to see in a month?” Theo asked in a low voice, his tone a little cold.
Zea was startled by Theo’s sudden voice, took a step back and happened to bump into his arms.
Their eyes met.
Zea hurriedly broke free from Theo’s arms, stood up and just as she was about to speak, she saw a tall beauty coming toward her.
That was Theo’s childhood sweetheart, Amber.
Zea had seen her in Theo’s mobile phone album.
“Theo, this is your sister, right?”
The woman held Theo’s arm intimately and Zea’s eyes flashed with surprise, but she quickly covered it up.
“Hello, I’m Theo’s friend, my name is Amber.”
Amber extended her hand to Zea generously.
Zea looked at Amber’s hand extended to her, a little stunned. Although she had heard that Theo had a favorite childhood sweetheart, she couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed when she saw him bring her in person.
