Substitute Sisters: Wrong Marriage, Right Love

Keith and Joanne lived on a flat floor in the city center.

I didn’t know if it was because they were too busy, but their home was plain and devoid of any decoration. 

However, the bedroom they specially prepared for me was filled with things a girl might like, from the smallest nail polish to the largest princess bed. The three wardrobes in the dressing room were also full of new styles of the season.

When I was still shocked, they were standing at the door, biting their lips and waiting for my opinion.

Obviously, they had done a good job. Why did they still feel that they had wronged me by being related to them?

I looked at everything in front of me carefully and then thanked him with complicated emotions.

After living in the Marshall Family for more than 20 years, all my luggage just consisted of some books and a broken camp bed. 

After all, my mother said that the girls had no home since we just like dandelions. When they fell into a fat place, they grew with the wind; when they fell into a thin place, they suffered all their lives.

But since she loved Betty more, she couldn't bear her marrying the idiot man in her life. However, Betty didn't appreciate her mother’s concern and chose to marry Brock, so that I could marry Keith. 

Well, after all, would such a loving brother and sister make me suffer then?

The next day, a news entry about a top male star being attacked by concentrated sulfuric acid dominated the trending searches.

So, when I just packed my things and got ready to go out, the security guard at the door called, "Mrs. Marshall, are you at home? There is a person who calls herself your sister and wants to come in, but she is covered with..." 

The security guard hesitated to speak, as if he was afraid that the woman would be angry.

I knew that according to Betty's true nature, even if she successfully married into the Carney Family, she would not want to see me feel better. But what did she bring to make the security so difficult?
