Chapter 3

Upon seeing Adam, Kelly's angry expression immediately turned to one of grievance. She covered her face and threw herself into Adam's arms, complaining about her recent suffering.

In front of me, Adam showed no sign of feeling anything was wrong. Instead, he gently patted Kelly's back and comforted her softly.

Then he turned to face me, his expression stern. "Sarah, you really are a shrew! You've gone too far!"

His voice was not loud, but the coldness in it made my breath stop for a moment. He ignored my injuries but comforted another woman! I met his gaze head-on, refusing to back down.

"Is this what you do every day when you say you're busy? Spending time with her?" I asked bitterly.

Adam replied indifferently, "Kelly hasn't been with the company for long, there are many areas where she needs my guidance. Why are you being so sarcastic? Are you still the Sarah I once knew?"

I laughed in exasperation. Considering the time, it seemed that I, his legitimate wife, had spent less time with him than his secretary had. My voice suddenly rose, "Adam, are you blind? Can't you see the words on that banner? Don't forget, I am your legal wife!"

Hearing this, everyone was stunned. None of them knew that the famous General Manager Adam Jenkins of Baltimore actually had a wife. Kelly looked at me in disbelief, her eyes full of jealousy and resentment.

As for Adam, in the past, fearing that my mother would be upset and her health would deteriorate, I had always gone along with Adam. This was the first time I had opposed him.

A trace of anger appeared between his eyebrows. "Kelly thought I wasn't married yet, so it's not her fault. She was just worried I was being deceived."

It was ridiculous that the mistress was afraid the man she seduced was being deceived by his legitimate wife. Seeing the pair in front of me, who seemed to understand each other so well, felt like a giant hand was squeezing my heart tightly.

I tried to calm myself down and looked at Adam. "In that case, I can make it easy for both of you."

I took out my phone and dialed my lawyer's number and said, "Mr. Atkins, please bring the agreement for leaving the marriage with nothing to the funeral home."

Today, I will make Adam sign the divorce agreement, leaving him penniless and empty-handed!
