Chapter 7

She heard every word of Rachel and Samuel and naturally did not miss Samuel's last words at the end.

"Our wedding can be held in advance. Giselle's wedding will be held the next day. I'm just sorry that I can't give you a grand wedding like hers."

Samuel came out of the fitting room with a calm expression and it was completely impossible to tell that he had just done the disgusting thing with Rachel in the fitting room.

The moment he saw Giselle change into a wedding dress and walk towards him, Samuel forgot everything and his eyes turned red uncontrollably. His voice was choked and he was about to cry in the next second.

In the past, he never understood why the groom in the TV series would cry when he saw the bride. He thought it was deliberately pretentious, so as to left a good impression of a groom in front of the guests, but at this moment he realized that the girl who had accompanied him all the way had already grown into an excellent adult.

They started from living together in a small rental house, eating fried food and barbecue on the street. Until one day they moved into a big house together, living a successful life that was envied by others. Along the way, the two leaned on each other and encouraged each other. The marriage that was out of reach was waving at them. They would also have their own children and they would grow old together.

They stood in front of the mirror and looked very compatible. Samuel's heart was suddenly wrapped tightly by an inexplicable guilt.

Then he asked Rachel to leave in an objective tone. "I will choose the rest of the clothes myself, no need to bother."

Giselle did not let go of the provocation in Rachel's eyes before she left, but she didn't care anymore.

After choosing the wedding dress, the two came to Curtiz’s house to greet them. Rebecca was obviously very satisfied with Samuel, "Samuel, we know who you are and we are relieved that you will take care of Giselle. The two of you should take good care of each other and live a good life together. I just hope you can be happy."

Samuel held Giselle's hand tightly, not knowing whether he was thinking of Rachel or the future with Giselle. Meanwhile Robbin didn't say anything, but snorted disdainfully with his fists clasped. No father in the world could really trust his daughter to another man.

He waved at Samuel, "You go out first, I have something to say to Giselle alone."

Samuel nodded and obediently retreated to the door. Robbin locked the door with a slam. He looked at Giselle carefully and frowned involuntarily.

"Girl, what's wrong with you recently? You looked weird on your last birthday. Why is it the same today? Are you in a bad mood? What happened? Tell me."

Robbin knew his daughter better than his father. Robbin was very familiar with his daughter. He could tell what Giselle was thinking from her expression. He rolled his eyes and lowered his voice, "Tell me the truth, don't you want to get married?"

Giselle didn't say anything.

"Did Samuel cheat? Did he find another woman?"

Giselle pouted.

"Does he value that woman more than you?!" Robbin shouted angrily, rolled up his sleeves and wanted to rush out and beat up the bastard outside the door.

Rebecca had never expected that things would turn out like this. She quickly held down the furious father and said seriously, "Giselle, are you sure there is no misunderstanding between you and Samuel? You are an adult now and your father and I will fully respect your opinion." Rebecca's speech speed became faster and faster and her emotions became more and more excited.

As she spoke, she punched the sofa, making a deep hole. "Samuel really shouldn't do this. He simply doesn't take our Curtiz Family seriously. Does he think he can do whatever he wants with a few stinky money? Bah, there are golf clubs in my bedroom. I'll beat that son of a bitch to death!!"
