"What?" Tina asked, she didn't hear what Amelia said the first time.

"It's nothing." Amelia sighed.

"Alright dear, come now, let's get you ready, your presence is needed downstairs." Tina said. Amelia frowned.

"My presence?" She asked in confusion.

"Yes, master Dylan wants you downstairs, we've spent a lot of time up here, let's get you ready quickly."

Amelia didn't feel like going anywhere, her whole body was sore and all she wanted to do was rest, but she dare not disobey Dylan's orders, she fears what he'll do to her.

She slowly got down from the bed, and she winced in pain, her legs felt weak, and this made her stand still, not making any attempt to move.

Tina noticed this, she bit her bottom lip, and she went to stand beside Amelia, she wrapped one hand around her shoulder, and held her hand with the other.

Amelia was clutching tightly to the sheets she's used to wrap herself, she didn't want it to fall off, revealing her nakedness.

"I'll help you to the bathroom." Tina said.

Amelia would have loved to refuse her, but she needed the help, so she just smiled.

"Thank you."

Tina helped her to the bathroom, and when she was in, she left.

"I'm right out here, call me if you need anything." She said before closing the door.

"Thank you." Amelia yelled from inside.

Dylan and his mother Tess were having breakfast, Dylan suddenly dropped the fork in his hand, and Tess turned to look at him.

"What's wrong?"

"The bitch is yet to arrive." Dylan said with gritted teeth.

Tess scoffed loudly.

"Just be patient son, I'm sure she'll be here soon, and I'll be sure to punish her." Tess smirked.

Dylan already explained everything to her, and she was more than furious when she heard it. She can't believe the Harper's had dared to cheat her son. She also loved Jenner and wanted her to marry her son, not her sister.

She's yet to see Amelia, but she already hates her with so much passion, she's also promised to make life a living hell for her.

Tina finally arrived with Amelia at the dining room.

"Sorry for the delay sir." She bowed.

Tess and Dylan's attention were focused only on Amelia.

"Good morning." Amelia greeted with her head bowed down.

She felt really nervous standing before Dylan and his mother.

"And what's good about the morning?" Tess barked. Amelia flinched.

"My son had asked for you to be brought down here, and look when you're coming."

"I I'm sorry ma'am." Amelia apologized.

Something tells her Tess doesn't like her, and she wasn't surprised.

Dylan stood up, then he walked to Amelia and he slapped her hard.

Amelia gasped in shock, she raised her head to look at him, her right palm was placed on her right cheek, where he had slapped her.

Tess smiled in satisfaction when she saw this, she also stood up and went to stand beside her son.

"What are you doing Dylan? I expected you to slap her again, she deserves more than just one slap." Tess said.

Amelia had no idea what her offense was or why Dylan suddenly slapped her, she couldn't even bring herself to look away from her, they both stared at each other, Dylan's eyes were cold and emotionless, while Amelia's eyes were glistening with unshed tears.

She hasn't recovered from the slap Dylan gave her, and then Tess slapped her on her left cheek.

"You still dare to maintain eye contact with my son, how dare you, you should bow your head down when you're with us, you'll be nothing more than just a slave to us."

Amelia finally let the tears she's been holding roll freely down her cheek, she listened to Tess and bowed down her head.

"My son already explained everything to me, and let me tell you this, I'll make sure you suffer dearly for the mistake your family made, you'll suffer this consequences of their actions, and that'll be starting now, because if you think we'll accept you, then you must be joking."

"I'll never accept you as my daughter inlaw, and neither will my son ever accept you as his wife, you get it!" She barked.

"Tina." Tess called loudly.

"Yes ma'am." Tina answered as she appeared before Tess.

"Listen to me carefully, this girl should be kept in the servant quarters, she's only allowed a square of meal each day, she should be given more work then the other maids, and anytime she makes a single mistake, she should be punished severely for it, do you understand." Tess said, glaring hatefully at Amelia.

Tina couldn't understand what was going on, she's Dylan's wife, so why reduce her status to nothing.

"Do you understand me Tina?" Tess said loudly.

"Yes ma'am." Tina bowed.

"Good."

Dylan stood silently all this while, his gaze was fixed on Amelia who had her head bowed down and was crying bitterly. He didn't care about anything his mother chose to do to her, she can suffer her all she wants, he doesn't care.

The image of him fucking her flashed through his mind, he remembered how good her pussy was, he wanted to have her again.

Dylan took Amelia's hand, then he pulled her out of there.

"Dylan, where are you going?" Tess yelled, but he didn't reply.

Tina shook her head sadly, she couldn't help but feel pity for Amelia, the poor girl was going to suffer greatly, Tess can be so inhumane, she is an expert when it comes to treating people like dirt, and if there was an award for the most wicked mother, Tess would qualify perfectly.

Dylan wasn't that bad, he's not as bad as his mother, so she wonders what makes him contribute in suffering Amelia.
