Chapter 1
I was a rogue, desperate to escape the Lycan prison.
I tricked my cellmate into spending every night with me.
He was a fallen Alpha.
His aura was pure and soothing, easing my pain and swelling.
After absorbing his scent’s strength, I broke free.
Later, when I dominated the territories and kidnapped the Lycan King for my revenge,
a stoic Beta showed up, leading two tiny pups by the hand.
He pushed the pups toward me and said,
"Old cellmate, long time no see. Your children have grown so much."

The Lycan King, Alexis Perry, was my first love.
We had a brief relationship, but before things could go further, he left me for a Lycan Princess.
I never got over it.
One night, after downing two bottles of whiskey,
I charged into the Lycan royal territory, my claws tearing through their defenses.
What greeted me wasn’t the dazzling night sky Alexis had once described, but a barrage of warriors in wolf form.
Battered and bleeding, I fought my way through.
Finally, I stood before Alexis.
He was cold, unfeeling, like a statue carved from ice.
His words were formal and hollow: "How dare you, rogue, trespass on royal grounds. Warriors, eliminate her!"
"Alexis, you’re the one who deserves to die!" I snarled, my voice trembling with rage.
Tears mixed with blood as I laughed, a bitter, broken sound.
Alexis tightened his grip on the Lycan Queen’s hand, then vanished with her into the protective barrier of their palace.
The barrier split the night into two worlds.
On my side, chaos and bloodshed.
On theirs, moonlight and serenity.
Exhausted, I collapsed under the onslaught of the royal warriors.
Alexis ordered me thrown into the Lycan prison, to await my fate.
