Revenge On My Vicious Sister-In-Law
Chapter 6
The officers didn't know what else to say.
My cousin's wife was stunned and shouted sharply, "Why didn't you tell us that? She did it on purpose. She wanted to kill my brother, didn't she?"
Their whole family started crying and shouting, "Sarah, you committed murder on purpose. We are gonna sue you!"
The officer looked at me, and I asked my parents in confusion, "They don't know it?"
My mother looked a little embarrassed. "Your uncles and aunts said that girls who practice boxing will have trouble getting married. We were afraid that it would affect your marriage, so we never mentioned it to them."
When I first got the medal, my parents were very proud and posted it on their moments, but all they got was ridicule.
"Girls should learn things like piano and dancing. She learned boxing. Do you want her to beat her future husband?"
"That's right. She's so violent. Who would dare to marry her in the future?"
People criticized me. So, my parents deleted it and never dared to mention it again.
I was also rendered speechless when I heard this. "I practiced boxing to win medals. Do they think they deserve to have me fight them? They want to take my fists for free. That's wishful thinking!"
The officer was amused when he heard me. He coughed again and said seriously, "But you still shouldn't beat them. If you want to reconcile, apologize to them. Otherwise, you will have to stay in jail."
Any sensible man would see that the party at fault was my cousin's family.
But my cousin's wife and her family didn't think so.
Hearing this, she screamed, "We won't reconcile. I want her to go to jail!"
I thought the same thing as my cousin's wife.
"I won't reconcile, either. If they dare to harass my family again, I will beat them up every time I see them."
The blood on my face hadn't dried yet. So, when I smiled at Edwin's parents, they were scared and screamed again.
They pointed at me and cursed at me nonstop. The officer felt helpless and asked, "Do you really wanna go to jail?"
I groaned and pointed at myself. "I'm sick."
The officer was stunned. He didn't expect me to say that about myself. Then, he saw me take out boxing gloves, a small sandbag, and a baton from my bag.
There was also a diagnosis paper.
When the officers saw the red stamp and the diagnosis result on it, they were even more stunned.
I smiled at them and said word by word, "I told you, I'm sick."
Really, I had bipolar disorder.
The officers verified the paper for a long time. Then, they confirmed that I was really mentally ill and was still in the onset period, so I could not be stimulated. Otherwise, I would relapse. So, people finally knew that I wasn't swearing.
I was really sick.
They didn't let it go like that, of course. There were doctors at the police station, and after they examined me in turns, they gave me the same diagnosis.
All my actions that day were stress responses after being stimulated.
Therefore, they couldn't arrest me. I had a relapse, and my cousin's wife and her family started it first.
We didn't have to pay compensation, either. My cousin's wife and her family forced my sister to commit suicide by taking pills, and Edwin did harass my sister first.
So, the farce ended, and my cousin's wife and her family had to take the blame.
Finally, the officer was also speechless. He looked at my cousin's wife and asked, "Why did you have to mess with her?"
