Revenge of the Wife: Go to Hell, Evil Husband! Chapter 1

My husband's beloved woman went blind, and he asked me to donate my corneas to her.

"Chloe lost her sight in order to save my mother! Can you donate your corneas to her now? I promise I'll find suitable corneas in the future!"

My husband knelt down, tears in his eyes, pleading with me. My mother-in-law kept assuring me that I wouldn’t be blind for long.

I believed their nonsense and donated my corneas. Soon after, my husband openly got together with her.

My mother-in-law urged me to divorce my husband, saying, "How can a blind person be my daughter-in-law?"

My husband's heart was all on his lover. He pushed me away coldly.

"After the divorce, I'll make sure you have everything you need, so just leave me alone!"

Though I was reluctant, I rushed out of the hospital to find him, but my blindness made it impossible to see, and I ended up in a car accident.

When I opened my eyes again, I found myself reborn to the day my husband asked me to donate my corneas to his lover.

——

My husband, Evan Scott, knelt in front of me with red eyes, his voice hoarse, begging me.

"Isabella, please, help her, okay? Chloe lost her sight to save my mother. We owe her, and only when you donate your cornea to her can we repay the debt!"

He held my hand tightly. "But don’t worry, Isabella, I won’t make you wait too long. I’ll find a suitable cornea to replace yours!"

I raised my eyes to adjust to the bright light and turned to look at Evan, who was kneeling on the ground with a humble expression. It was then that I realized I had been reborn.

In my previous life, I foolishly believed Evan's lies and donated my cornea.

But to my shock, after I lost my sight, Evan openly stayed with his ideal partner, Chloe.

He brought her to our home, let her wear my pajamas, and kissed her without any hesitation right in front of me.

And I could only foolishly ask, "Honey, how long do I have to wait for a suitable cornea?"

Evan didn’t respond, but nearby, Chloe let out a low sneer. "What a fool! You actually believed it!"

"Corneas are so precious, Evan was just deceiving you. Yet you still foolishly cling to the hope of seeing the light again!"

At that moment, I realized that I had been deceived.

But it was too late.

I screamed at Evan, and he initially perfunctorily dealt with it.

Later, he lost all patience, so he proposed a divorce straightforwardly.

"Isabella Flores. After the divorce, I'll make sure you have everything you need, so just leave me alone!"

His voice was cold, with a hint of disgust as he pushed me away.

At that moment, I finally understood.

It turned out that he had always been lying to me.

Now reborn, the memories of the past slowly fade and gather before me, with Evan kneeling on the ground, a pleading look on his face.

Noticing my silence, he assumed I was still hesitating.

Then, reaching behind him, he pulled out a bouquet of vibrant roses.

"Isabella, our third wedding anniversary is in two weeks. I promise you, I'll find a suitable cornea for you by then, okay?"

He looked so serious as if he were guaranteeing it with his own life.

After three years of marriage, I was all too familiar with his tricks.

He knows that I had a soft spot for him and that I’ve always loved him deeply.

He’s aware that if he plays the right emotional cards, I might foolishly give in.

But the old Isabella is dead.

I no longer love him.

I smiled faintly, snatched the rose from his hand, and threw it to the ground, shattering it.

"Evan, my body belongs to me and my parents. If you want me to donate my corneas to someone else, you need my mom's consent."

I paused, my voice firm. "Otherwise, forget it!"

Evan's face changed instantly.

He knew it was impossible.

My mom passed away three years ago.
