Remorse Dawned in, After I left him
Chapter 6
I looked at Grandmother, her eyes mirroring the sadness I felt within. My world had shattered, and a new wave of heartache crashed over me. The realisation of his quick replacement plunged me into a deeper abyss of sorrow. In my world, death was better than being an omega. I was slowly slipping away from reality.
"Annie ,"
I just wanted to die or wake up from this nightmare.
"Annie, are you still listening?" Abel's urgency jolted me back from the brink, yet the persistent darkness within echoed a silent scream through the shattered pieces of my world.
"Yeah, I am, Abel. It's just that everything is happening all at once, and it's really hard for me to take in," I admitted, my voice overwhelmed with emotions. It was hard to believe everything that was happening and how easily Lucas was quick to replace me.
Abel looked at me in understanding and nodded his head sympathetically. Abel was unmated, and I have never seen him with a female, so I doubt he understood all I was going through right to now
Abel looked at me in understanding and nodded his head sympathetically. Abel was unmated, and so I doubt he understood all I was going through right now.
"I understand, Luna, what it feels like to be betrayed by someone you love," he muttered with a distant look in his eyes, then his face suddenly changed to one of determination.
"That's why we need to prepare to go back to the Red Moon pack. The sooner you begin your revenge, the better for you to fix your life back together and move on." I looked up to him, acknowledging the need to face the tumultuous challenges awaiting me at the place where love had crumbled and betrayal set in.
At this time, everything was pitch black with no way out to set my plans into motion,Then, I knew what I had to do and that was to request favour from the moon goddess and fortunately she answered me at the darkest hour, I emerged not as a person without severe injuries but as a new person; someone strong, someone who's ready to eliminate all her enemies. My eyes fluttered open and I exhale, it was like breaths were gathering in my nose. I gasp and sprung from bed.
My eye-mind told me I needed a complete makeover since I wouldn't take revenge with my real identity, it was too risky with Lucas being the Alpha of two powerful packs. It would be difficult to take him down.
I would really need Abel's help in getting disguise. I was thankful to the moon goddess before bringing me back , none of them would be spared starting from Lucas and Jennifer's to his parents beta who also contributed to causing me pain .
You all should watch out for me because I am not the girl you know anymore. I have made numerous mistakes of being too nice, shy and kind oblivious of what the world was truly made of; I won't make those mistakes twice again. I won't let them trample on me any longer like trash. I know my place and I'm ready to get it. I won't let their union hold, Lucas and Jennifer will pay dearly. But before then, I would have to separate them.
Abel presented a radiant invitation card, beckoning various wolf packs to witness Lucas's union with Jennifer.
"Annie, this is your chance to retaliate," Abel whispered, his eyes gleaming with intrigue. "A grand ball precedes the wedding ceremony, offering the perfect setting for your revenge.”
“We will both attend as a couple from this pack to avoid and divert any sort of suspicion.”
