Reborn to Ruin My Scumbag Husband
Chapter 1
My husband came home drunk, bringing another woman with him for the night.
And he had the audacity to act like I wasn't even there.
Hmph, let's see if your fists are stronger or if my knife is sharper.
Tick-tock.
The clock on the wall showed 3 a.m.
I checked my phone—May 20th.
Just as I was about to get up to go to bed, the doorbell rang.
I froze for a moment before walking casually to open the door.
Standing there were a man and a woman.
The man was my husband, Kevin Sterling, clearly wasted.
The woman, I didn’t recognize.
When she saw me open the door, she smiled lightly and said, “Kevin’s drunk. I’m just helping him back.”
I reached out to help him, but the woman stepped in front of me, clearly blocking my way.
I raised an eyebrow and stepped aside.
The woman supported Kevin and walked in as if I didn’t exist, the two of them clinging to each other, completely ignoring me, not even pretending to be discreet.
I watched them for a moment, tilting my head.
The next instant, I stormed forward, grabbing Kevin by the collar and yanking him back with a stumble.
"Kevin!" I spat, my voice cold. "You’ve been ignoring my calls and texts, and now you're here with this woman?"
Kevin seemed to come to his senses a little.
Standing up straight, he shouted, “Elena, why aren’t you sleeping at this hour? What’s your problem?”
I laughed.
My problem?
If memory serves, I probably called you at least thirty times, didn’t I? You ignored all of them, didn’t reply to my messages. And now, it’s 3 a.m., and you come home with a woman. And somehow, I’m the one who’s causing a scene?
I picked up a glass of water from the table and, without a second thought, splashed it in Kevin’s face.
Kevin shook his head, wiping the water off, now more awake, his eyes filled with anger. "Elena!!! You threw water at me?"
I opened my mouth to respond, but before I could say anything, Kevin slapped my arm.
My anger flared up, boiling over.
Countless thoughts rushed through my mind. In my rage, I lost all sense of control and lunged at him, hitting him with everything I had.
At first, Kevin was caught off guard, but once he recovered, he didn’t hold back. He fought back, matching my fury.
The woman, watching from the side, saw the chance and lunged at me, grabbing my hair and pulling.
So this was going to be a two-on-one fight.
The sharp pain in my scalp brought me back to my senses, making me realize what was happening.
I seized the moment, shoving the woman into Kevin’s arms before scrambling to my feet. I ran to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and came back out.
Hmph.
You want to fight me with fists, do you?
Let’s see if your punches are stronger, or if my knife is sharper.
