Waking up in a frail, bullied body, I strike a fake dating deal with the school's fierce tyrant, Silas, to escape his arranged marriage in exchange for combat training. As our intense night sessions spark a dangerous, unspoken passion, our mock bond turns genuine. But when I try to walk away after winning the tournament, Silas exposes the dark secrets of our tie. Now, his wealthy family and a shadow organization are hunting us down.

Reborn as a Weak Omega, I Accidentally Bagged the School Tyrant Chapter 1

Metal rattled against my spine. Pain flared between my shoulder blades.

"Are you deaf, Elowen?"

The voice was shrill, cutting through the heavy fog in my brain.

"Look at me when I'm talking to you."

A hand smacked the side of my face. Not hard enough to bruise, but enough to sting.

I opened my eyes. A locker door pressed into my back. This wasn't my corporate office. This wasn't my tailored suit. I wore a cheap plaid skirt, and my limbs felt entirely too soft.

The memories crashed in instantly. Elowen. Omega. The absolute bottom of the high school food chain.

"I asked you a question, freak." The girl pinning me sneered. Rita Jenkins. A Beta with too much time and a cruel streak.

"I hear you," I said. My voice came out thin, fragile. I hated it immediately.

Rita laughed, glancing over her shoulder at her two shadows, Chloe and Sam. "She speaks! I thought the little Omega lost her tongue."

"Just leave her, Rita," Chloe chimed in, popping a bubble of pink gum. "She's gonna start sobbing in a second."

I didn't cry. I stared at Rita's hand pressing into my collarbone.

My new body lacked the muscle mass to fight back. Beta biology naturally overpowered an Omega. If I fought, I'd end up on the floor. If I ran, they'd chase me down.

"What do you want?" I asked.

Rita leaned in closer. "We made a bet. And you're the star."

"I'm not interested."

"You don't get to be interested," Rita snapped. "You're going to march out to the courtyard. Right now. And you're going to tell Silas Thorne that you are completely, desperately in love with him."

Silas.

Who was Silas?

I hadn't known anyone named Silas.

But in an instant, a flood of unfamiliar memories materialized out of nowhere in my mind, revealing that Silas was....

The top Alpha.

Cold. Vicious. He despised weak Omegas. He crushed anyone who didn't meet his impossible standards.

"Silas," I repeated, testing the weight of the syllables.

"Yeah." Rita's grin turned wicked. "You're gonna look him in the eye and beg him to be yours."

"He'll humiliate her," Sam muttered from the sidelines. "He might actually hit her."

"That's the point," Rita said. "So, what's it going to be, Elowen? You go out there and confess, or we drag you into the girls' showers. Every day. For the rest of the year. I'll make sure you never have an unbruised rib."

I analyzed the two options. A daily beating behind closed doors meant chronic suffering. A public confrontation with an Alpha meant an audience. An audience could be manipulated.

"That sounds like a terrible idea," I said.

"It's a fantastic idea. For us." Chloe grinned, her gum snapping again.

"You do it, or we drag you away right now," Rita warned, her fingers digging into my shoulder. "No cameras in the locker room. No teachers. Just us."

I dropped my gaze to the linoleum floor. I let my shoulders slump, playing the exact role they expected from a terrified prey.

"If I do this," I started, keeping my tone submissive. "If I go talk to him. You leave me alone for the rest of the week."

Rita raised an eyebrow. "Negotiating? Bold. But fine. You do it, and you get a pass until Monday. Assuming you survive Silas."

"Deal."

Rita blinked. Her hand loosened slightly. "What?"

"I'll do it."

Chloe stopped chewing her gum. "Wait, really? She's actually going to do it?"

"She's too stupid to know what he'll do to her," Rita mocked, though suspicion flickered in her eyes. She grabbed my wrist. "Let's go. Before you lose your nerve."

She dragged me down the hallway. Students parted ways, whispering behind their hands.

"Where's Rita taking the trash?" a boy called out from by the water fountain.

"To the incinerator," Rita shot back. "She's going to talk to Silas."

The corridor erupted in murmurs.

"Silas? Is she suicidal?"

"He's gonna snap her neck."

"I give her ten seconds before she's bawling."

I tuned them out. Elowen's memories provided a clear profile of Silas Thorne. He was wealthy, ruthless, and highly territorial. He didn't tolerate disrespect, but he also hated groveling.

If I went to him as a trembling mess, he would dismiss me with cruel indifference.

I needed to be a puzzle. Alphas liked puzzles. They liked challenges.

"Hurry up," Rita yanked my arm.

"Ow," I said, entirely deadpan.

"Shut up and walk."

"I'm walking as fast as I can."

"You're dragging your feet. You're scared."

"Terrified," I agreed flatly.

We hit the double doors. Rita pushed them open with her free hand and shoved me through.

Sunlight blinded me for a second. The courtyard buzzed with hundreds of students eating lunch, talking, laughing.

"There he is," Rita whispered, pointing toward the large oak tree at the center.

Silas Thorne sat on a concrete bench beneath the branches.

Even from fifty feet away, his presence was suffocating. His dark eyes scanned the crowd with absolute boredom. Two other Alphas stood near him, acting as a barrier, but Silas was the undisputed center of gravity.

"Go," Rita nudged me hard in the back. "Loud enough for people to hear. Or the deal is off."

I stumbled a step forward.

The students nearby noticed the commotion. They saw Rita, then they saw me.

"Oh my god, is Elowen going over there?"

"Watch this. This is going to be brutal."

I smoothed down the front of my cheap skirt. I took a breath, locking away the residual fear of the Omega body.

I walked forward.

Fifty feet. Forty.

The crowd parted for me, their silence spreading like a wave across the yard.

Thirty feet.

Silas's two guards noticed me. One of them nudged the other, pointing a finger in my direction.

Twenty feet.

Silas turned his head.

His gaze locked onto mine. Cold. Piercing. A heavy, dominant pressure hit me instantly, trying to force my eyes to the ground.

I kept my chin up.

Ten feet.

I stopped right in front of him.

The entire courtyard went dead silent. You could hear the wind rustling the oak leaves above us.

Silas didn't move. He didn't adjust his posture. He just stared at me, his jaw set, waiting for me to break under the weight of his scrutiny.

"Well?" he finally spoke. His voice was a low, dangerous rumble that vibrated in my chest. "Are you lost, Omega?"

"No," I said. My voice was steady. Clear.

His eyes narrowed slightly. Just a fraction.

"Then why are you standing in my air?"

I glanced back over my shoulder. Rita and her friends were watching from the doors, grinning, waiting for my destruction.

I turned back to the most terrifying Alpha in school.

"I'm here to make a confession," I said.
