Chapter 1

My sister and I transmigrated into a savage beastman world where females were terrifyingly scarce. For the sake of reproduction, the Grand Druid allowed us to take our pick of mates first. Whoever gave birth to a child first, her husband would be crowned the Beast King.

My sister, Chloe, was power-hungry. She immediately claimed Lucius, the noble and devastatingly handsome Merfolk Prince.

I chose Bjorn, a werewolf guard who seemed honest and loyal.

Chloe mated with Lucius, but she gave birth to two deformed half-merfolk pups, making her the laughingstock of the horde.

Lucius was sadistic by nature and beat her constantly, while Bjorn treated me with the utmost care.

After I gave birth to our first child, he successfully ascended to the Beast King's throne and crowned me as his supreme Queen, revered by all beasts.

Chloe went mad with jealousy. At my Queen's coronation, she drove a poisoned dagger straight through my heart.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day we chose our mates.

Chloe rushed forward and latched onto Bjorn's arm.

"Elena, this time, the Queen's throne is mine."

I instantly realized that she had been reborn, too.

I looked toward the small, reddish-brown wyvern huddled in the corner. "I choose him."

"Choose your mates.Whoever births an heir first, her husband will become the Beast King."

The moment I opened my eyes, the Grand Druid's voice echoed in my ears.

I felt a wave of dizziness, staring in shock at the crowd of beastmen flexing their muscles and oozing feral charm.

I had been reborn.I was back on the day my sister and I had to choose our mates.

In my past life,Chloe was obsessed with status. The second she heard the merfolk had sent their prince, she threw herself at him.

And after looking around,I chose Bjorn,a werewolf guard covered in scars.

I had heard he got those severe wounds defending the tribe from invaders,so I figured he was a man of loyalty and honor.

Sure enough, after we formed the mating bond,he doted on me and paved my way to the Beast Queen's throne.

But Chloe met a miserable end...

I snapped out of my thoughts and coldly surveyed the area.

Chloe smiled and nudged my arm."Sister, what are you so nervous about?"

She wore a smug, determined smirk.I knew she was aiming for Bjorn.

She thought my past life as the Queen of the wolves was entirely glamorous, completely oblivious to the living hell I endured behind closed doors.Bjorn played the honest guy on the outside, but underneath,he was an absolute control freak and a psycho.

He locked me up,cutting me off from the outside world.

To secure military support from other tribes,he even treated me as a gift, tossing me to various warlords to be used and abused.

Just thinking about the hellish torture of my past life made me shiver.

This time,I had to stay away from him!

"Sister, why don't you pick the Merfolk Prince? He's of noble birth and so handsome,"Chloe whispered in my ear, trying to goad me.

She was still trying to push me into the fire.

I pretended not to hear her and said slowly,"I think I'll still choose the wolf..."

"No need, sister!"Chloe interrupted impatiently. She grabbed Bjorn, who was crouching on the ground, and shot me a provocative look."So what if Bjorn is just a vulgar,low-ranking werewolf?I like him,and that's all that matters.Sister, you wouldn't try to steal him from me,would you?"

The surrounding beastmen immediately sneered.

In the tribe,low-ranking wolves were strong, but their bloodlines were muddy and their status was rock-bottom.They were usually just cannon fodder on the front lines and were constantly looked down upon.

I caught a fleeting, vicious glint in Bjorn's eyes as I obediently lowered my head.

"Sister, don't be too picky. The powerful guys have terrible tempers—you wouldn't be able to handle them.I think that goblin over there,or that Naga, would suit you perfectly."

The ones Chloe pointed to were all bottom-tier creatures with messy bloodlines and incomplete human transformations.

The green Naga flicked his tongue, his snake tail slithering around my calf with malicious intent.

Chloe giggled beside me."I heard Nagas have intense stamina in bed.Sister, you're in for a treat."

Beside her,Bjorn seemed displeased by Chloe's looseness.Ignoring the crowd,he roughly pulled her into his arms, squeezing her chest hard to claim his territory.

Hearing Chloe's breathy moans, the surrounding males turned their eyes toward me,their gazes growing even more greedy and explicit.
