After calling my dad and confirming that all the cards could not be used for now, I breathed a sigh of relief.

I checked my watch and saw that the driver would arrive soon, so I slowly walked towards the school gate.

Suddenly, Ruby ran over and looked at me, commanding, "You walk home by yourself tonight. I need the car to take classmates to the hotel."

I ignored her, and she yanked me. During the struggle, she suddenly fell backward, followed by an angry shout, "Callie, how can you be so vicious?"

When I looked up, I saw that the one who pushed me was Amy Baker. She was one of the people Ruby sponsored, and she always followed orders.

Ruby had promised to cover her college tuition and even offered her a job at her family's company after graduation.

I glanced at Ruby, who was leisurely watching Amy, and said, "Ruby told you I was from the countryside and my parents were going to send me to work?"

I had originally planned to settle accounts with these people after the exams, but Reid talked about my mom. I kicked him to the ground and started punching his face.

I remained expressionless and repeated, "Get out."

This car was bought by my dad specifically to take me to and from school, and the driver was hired for that purpose. If she wanted to show off, she should do it with her own parents!
