An Intern Claims to be Pregnant with My Brother's Child, She Didn't Know My Brother was Adopted

I waited until I returned to the office before I picked up my cell phone and called Nicholas. The call was quickly answered, but it wasn't Nicholas. It was Madeleine. 

Madeleine was very proud and said, “Why? Now you know to call to apologize?”

“I tell you, it's too late. You can just pack up and leave. Don't blame me as a sister-in-law for being too cunning. If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for controlling the family business but not giving it to your brother!”

“Otherwise why do you think I came to your company to join? What I want is to drive you out of the Mazzarello Family. All of the Mazzarello Family's property will be my son's in the future. Don't call here again. Wait for us to come to your door to drive you out!”

Madeleine finished like a machine gun. Then hung up the phone. I couldn't get through if I called again.

After hanging up, I immediately asked my assistant to investigate Madeleine. I didn't know until I checked. 

I was shocked. It turned out that Madeleine Lidoine was a college student sponsored by Nicholas. The two became a romantic relationship over and over.

Not long after Madeleine became pregnant. I think it was because Madeleine couldn't stand to see me in control of the family business. So, she was deliberately inducted into the company, just for today's scene.

But it was a pity for me. In front of absolute strength, all conspiracies were futile.

I didn't call Nicholas again, but instead called my bank account manager, “I want you to stop all the sub-cards I gave to Nicholas now.”

Then contacted the housekeeper at home and ordered, “The houses and villas where Nicholas often goes, change the password if you have a password and change the door locks if you don't have a password. Don't let him in.”

I dealt with everything in a thunderous manner. As expected, Nicholas called me soon. I was too lazy to pick up and directly blocked his number.

Three days later I was ready to go out to the company. Nicholas and Madeleine came to my house with a group of relatives and the interns I fired last time.

Nicholas pointed at my nose and said with a straight face, “Theresa, we are your family. But you can't tolerate your sister-in-law and our baby. So today I'm going to replace Mom and Dad in disciplining you.”

“A bitch with no respect for your elders and I'm ordering you to hand over the company and also the family's money. I am now giving you two choices in front of our relatives and friends.”

“First, get out of the Mazzarello Family penniless and never have any contact with each other again. Second, apologize to your sister-in-law on your knees. I can give you another job for the sake of Mom and Dad, or at least not let you starve to death.”

Seeing that I had no reaction and even looked like I wanted to laugh a little, Madeleine broke her defence a little.

“What are you laughing at? Nicholas didn't say anything wrong. He's the son of the Mazzarello family. All this should have been Nicholas.”

“A woman is the head of the family? You are not afraid of making others laugh when you tell others about it! Everyone, is that right?”

The interns soldiered on and agreed that it was right. But the faces of the relatives and friends didn't look very good. 

One of them just said awkwardly, “Nicholas, didn't you say that you came here for a big event? Is this the big event you were talking about?”

Nicholas seemed to have not expected everyone to not help him. He became even more angry.

“How is this not called a big event? The crowing of a hen will cause unrest in the house! I just take back the family property that should belong to the eldest son. Is there anything wrong with that?”

Hearing this, I could no longer hold back and directly slapped Nicholas. “An adopted child, what's the point of talking about the eldest son, what's the point of talking about the property, don't you think it's ridiculous?”
