She decided to call his bluff.

It was with shock that she woke the next day ND prepared for work, only to get there and met her boss' wife already there.

Phoebe was shocked. Even Richard could not have worked this fast now could he? And the woman would have asked for evidence or tried to find evidence herself, definitely. So why was she here this early when she had had that showdown with Richard just in the evening yesterday?'

She packed her personal things in the office and left with the staff looking on. She felt ashamed and humiliated. She knew that the news would spread and didn't think that she could endure that.

Richard had really done his worst and she was going to plot her revenge but she was going to do it far away from him so that when she finally effected it,he wouldn't know what hit him.

She took two weeks to make preparations to leave the town and come to Lake District where she felt things were relatively calm.

Her friend had also supported her relocation and Phoebe was happy for her because she was in a loving relationship with Palmer, one of the guys who had rescued her that night from Richard's goons.
