Chapter 2

Austin stood out among the other male students in class. He was wearing a plain white jersey paired with knee-length joggers. The sun shone down on his tall, lanky, yet muscular body as he stared ahead without any expression on his handsome face.

It was as if he hadn't just spoken up to defend me.

"Alright, I will be evaluating you in the 1000-meter run today. Ready, set, go!" Mr. Wilcox said, blowing his whistle.

While waiting, I found a shady tree nearby and squatted down, leaning heavily against the trunk. I wanted to bash my head against it until I passed out.

Why was I so unlucky to get such terrible period cramps during PE on my first day of school?

Even worse, I was only wearing a thin pantyliner today.

A while later, Austin had finished his run and naturally sauntered up to me. "What are you hiding here for?" he asked me.

"I… I…" I saw him eyeing me suspiciously and started to stammer. I couldn't get a word out.

If only he was a female!

Austin's gaze first landed on my face, then my chest, my waist, and finally, to the center of my thighs.

"Hey, are you having a miscarriage?"

I looked down at once and nearly fainted from embarrassment. My blood had seeped right through my clothes!

Also, what sort of stupid question was he asking?

I turned red with embarrassment. I wanted to cry because of how ashamed and embarrassed I was.

Austin suddenly leaped up and grabbed a school jacket from the tree branches before handing it to me.

"Use this to cover up," he said.

As it turned out, he had left his uniform hanging in the tree branches. That explained why he had been walking toward me just now.

Right at that moment, I suddenly felt as if I'd met my savior. It didn't matter that my first impression of him hadn't been the best—he was starting to look more and more attractive to me.

I quickly took the jacket from him and tied it around my waist.

This was the first time I had ever worn a guy's clothes. Surprisingly, Austin's jacket didn't reek of sweat as I thought it would. Instead, it gave off a faint scent that made my heart palpitate.

Was this what guys' pheromones smelled like? All of a sudden, I couldn't stop the sudden shiver down my spine.

Perhaps I'd been squatting for too long and stood up in too much of a hurry. Just as soon as I was done tying his jacket around my waist, I felt a sudden lightheadedness as I blacked out for a brief moment, falling forward.

Austin had quite the shock. He instinctively shot his hands forward to steady me on my feet and accidentally grabbed my boobs.

Both of us fell into sudden, awkward silence.

This was the first time I had my boobs grabbed by a guy ever since I'd been born. I was stupefied. I didn't even manage to snap back to my senses when Austin subconsciously kneaded them a few more times.

"I-I didn't mean to… It was an accident. Get up, please," Austin said, looking embarrassed as well.

After he helped me stand properly, he awkwardly scratched the back of his head and said, "I'm sorry. I usually play basketball, so I might have grabbed you a little too hard. Did I hurt your boobs?"

I was still at a loss for words.

It was a completely understatement to say that we were both suffocating from embarrassment at this point.

"Uhh, pretend I said nothing," Austin said, suddenly realizing that he'd said the wrong thing. He then waved at me and turned to leave.

I stared at his bright red ears and gingerly touched my boobs. Then, I subtly redid the bra clasp he'd accidentally unclasped while he'd been squeezing me. Suddenly, I felt an urge to laugh out loud.

It seemed as though I had greatly misunderstood my deskmate. He was behaving differently from how I'd imagined.

I think someone once told me that once a girl got curious about a guy, it meant she was about to fall in love with him very soon.

And, a goody-two-shoes like me had never met a guy like him. He had piqued my curiosity.

Once, my phone had run out of battery, so I borrowed his phone to make a call. I had then accidentally opened up his gallery and saw that it was filled to the brim with porn videos.

Perhaps my curiosity had gotten ahead of me. It had killed the cat, after all. But after I learned about his nasty stash of porn videos, I felt as though some lustful demon had awakened inside of me.

I couldn't help thinking that the women in those videos were as ugly as heck.

I wanted to show him what true beauty really looked like.
