Playboy's Failure: Falling In Love With His Secretary
Chapter 10
Declan feels compelled to wake up on a beautiful Thursday morning. When he remembered the warm moments he had with Margaux in the very room he had just formed, he opened his eyes and smiled.
Declan leaned over to look at the girl, but the smile that had crept across his lips vanished as soon as he realized Margaux was no longer beside him.
He allowed himself to stay in bed for a few seconds, reasoning that the girl was just taking a bath.
But, after more than two minutes, the girl was still not there, and it was only then that he realized the bathroom was quiet, with no sign of Margaux's shadow taking a bath.
Declan gets up, only to discover that he is now alone, and that the clothes he threw away last night are now flattened, including his underwear.
Declan was completely taken aback. Margaux left him in the room without saying anything.
Was it difficult for that woman to wake him up and tell him she had to go home?
Declan moved quickly, even reaching for his clothes, which Margaux had left on the side table as if they were still being ironed.
He then recalls the scene from the night before. That was intense, seductive, and scorching!
But he noticed something in himself, as if he wanted to see Margaux and didn't want to lose sight of her every now and then.
As a result, he twisted his neck.
Declan was awakened a few moments later by his cellphone's ringtone, only to discover that Conrad, who had called early in the morning, had made his head burn.
Conrad's voice on the phone had already soared before he had even spoken when he answered that the call to shout it.
"Please forgive me for disturbing your rest time, sir, but the board of directors and other investors have already arrived only to begin the meeting for the next hours due to the fact that they have a lot of things to do abroad; I've called you many times, but it appears that you had a great night ahead of you last time, which is why you hadn't answered my call."
Declan closed his eyes as a result of Conrad's lengthy statement. He forgot that this is why he was quickly sent back to the Philippines to meet the prestigious investors and other board of directors he has in the company he runs.
But Declan had a new problem that was really bothering him. Margaux.
Margaux should always be the one to notify him because she is now his secretary and Conrad no longer has heavy work to spare there.
"Didn't you tell Margaux what my schedule was—"
"I haven't seen your secretary since I walked into the office, sir, and even the employees haven't noticed Margaux."
If so, could you please elaborate? Where has the maiden disappeared to?
"Leave those people in the board room to wait for me; they aren't the only personalized individuals who are busy; I, too, was busy."
"However, sir, they will begin—"
"Conrad, who is your estate boss?"
"Y-you!"
"Good. Let them wait. I'll be there in a few minutes," he said, overhearing the speaker sigh violently on the other end of the line.
"N-no problem, sir," Conrad said abruptly, hanging up the phone.
Declan has a lot on his plate right now, but what he misses most is Margaux's presence.
He looked down at the quilt, which now had a red stain on it, proving that Margaux was still a virgin when he took her the night before.
But he is undeniably savage from the moment he takes her in.
Declan reached for the towel on the rack and entered the bathroom naked to take a shower.
Declan could still feel the heat of the girl's body as the cold water dripped down on him, and his mind was still racing from everything that had happened the night before in his own home.
When he closed his eyes, he saw Margaux's face just smiling at him, as if she was attracting him.
Stupid! He's destined for failure.
"WHAT HAPPENED to you last night, Margaux? Your phone has turned off; I would have called you to say hello to what was going on when you applied as my cousin's secretary." Everly was on her way to Margaux's house the next day, accompanied by her husband Damon and daughter Derly.
She was sore down there, but she didn't let them know. Margaux didn't want to know when her friend, Declan, was the first man she slept with and, worse, he had already gotten her virginity.
When she awoke early this morning and Declan was still sleeping, she left his house with all her strength, despite the fact that it was still painful for her to step on her feet.
She also didn't understand why she sent that man because it would be a long time before she could walk properly again.
Margaux is grateful that her father has yet to return home because he will undoubtedly receive another harsh sermon.
"Hey, Marg... what happened to you and why do you still look blank? Do you have the flu?"
"H-huh?" Everly touched her forehead with the back of her hand to see if she had a fever.
"Oh my god, you're so hot."
"H-huh?" Everly looked down at her with no hesitation, having vaguely asked that question to the friend.
Her expression changed abruptly as well, from natural to coming from raising her brows.
Damon, Everly's multi-tasking husband, went out to comfort their daughter, who was complaining about how difficult it was to adjust to the new environment.
"Admit it to me, Marg... Are you into drugs?" Margaux's chest tightened as she learned from Everly that she had been accused of being a drug user.
"Why would I do that? Also, if I'm a drug user, I'm not good, am I? That drug will not have a good effect on people's bodies," she replied to her friend, but Everly continued to stare at her.
"But why don't you seem to be on your own? Are you pregnant?" The next thing she said caused Margaux to shiver all over her body.
"Don't believe what you're saying; I don't have a boyfriend in fact, so who can I bother with?" Margaux secretly applauded herself because she is the best actress.
If her best friend had known that her good cousin Declan was the first man to tear her cunt, Everly's sermon would be a painful one.
Her friend, on the other hand, insisted on narrowing her eyes and staring at her.
"When I discovered that the titanium had suddenly grown due to the Anaconda's entry—"
"Everly!" Margaux was taken aback by Everly's heinous mind and quickly covered her ears.
"Hey! You're a grown woman now, you're not young enough to act like that. You're 24 years old, okay? 24 years old," Everly said, still covering her ears.
She was about to say something when Damon burst into the lobby, his clothes tangled and his hair still frizzy as if it had changed appearance.
Margaux noticed that Baby Derly was crying as well.
When baby Derly saw her friend, they both turned to the man and his daughter, who were already sweating and crying, and raised their hands to Eve.
"What happened, Dame?" Damon inquired. Margaux got up as well as a result of this.
"I think she wants to breastfeed; I didn't want to bother you, but the baby was already crying and pulling my hair when our son realized I wasn't going in."
"Baby Derly is just as spoiled as you, so I just followed," Margaux laughed as Everly observed her husband say that.
"How can I—" Everly's voice trailed off as baby Derly's cries became more audible.
After that, the couple decided to return home because Everly and Dame's daughter needed to sleep as well.
Her friend also advised her to rest in order to avoid overheating.
She appears to be suffering from the flu at the moment, as she is also experiencing symptoms.
Margaux simply stared at the two as they entered their own home.
Margaux winced and was overcome with pain in the middle of her thighs as soon as she shut the gate to the house.
Margaux didn't notice her walk because she had guests in the house at the time, so she could only enjoy it now.
She took a series of steps as she slowly rose to her feet.
"That Declan animal, why is that one's penis XL size?" she moaned softly to herself before continuing on her way.
Margaux was about to sit on the extremely soft sofa to rest her hips when her doorbell rang again.
Margaux bit her lower lip in annoyance; what else did Everly need, even though they hadn't forgotten anything when the couple left her house?
"Come on, Eve!" she yelled, hesitantly, but she managed to run. Margaux insisted, despite the pain, and simply stopped walking when she felt the pain intensify in part of her delicacy.
"What brought you back here, Eve—" Margaux was speechless. Her lips parted as she looked at an unexpected visitor in her front door.
It wasn't Everly, but... But Declan.
"What do you need from me, and why have you come to my house?" But instead of responding, the man just stared at her intently.
"You don't want to answer?" Margaux was about to shut the door when he quickly blocked his hands to keep her from doing so.
Declan then took the initiative and spoke up.
"What is your reason for being so impolite?"
Why? The man in front of her, on the other hand, is the reason for her unsteady gait.
"And why didn't you report to my office to finish what you had started the day before?" he asked.
Margaux raised an eyebrow and smirked at the young man.
"You're the one who ended up there, okay?" "Besides, I can't do any loaded works today." Because of the pain you inflicted on me the night before.
Declan, on the other hand, raised his brow openly at her.
"You are not my boss, Margaux; you have no authority over me; you are neither superior nor inferior to me."
"All right, stop," she said, putting her hands in front of Declan's.
"I understand your point; don't worry, okay? When I'm fine tomorrow morning, I'll go to work."
"Are you sick? What's the matter?" But before Margaux could protest, Declan had already kicked her in the brow, and Margaux had lost the court yet again?
"Goodness Margaux, you're sick," it said, widening the eyes as if in disbelief.
Margaux simply stared at the man before violently removing his hand from her brow.
"What if I get a fever? You can come home—"
"No!"
"Why, what would you do if — hey! Declan, what are you doing, take me down!" Declan suddenly loaded her and entered the house.
Declan even managed to close the gate with one hand while carrying her like a sack of rice.
"Declan, what's up? Hey?"
"Shut up, Margaux; where is your room? Is it just here in the living room, or is it upstairs?"
"I'm not going to tell you — where are you taking me again?"
"My instincts tell me that you have a room on the second floor, so Margaux, your wish is granted."
Oh my goodness! Why is this one so defiant?
"Stop punching my back. That's not even included. Instead, punch my face right after I'm done helping you lay in bed. Fuck Margaux, you are hotter than a lava." His statement, referring to her body temperature.
Margaux also admitted as much, claiming that this man had made her feel even worse.
Declan sat on the far side of her bed after laying her down on the bed and covering her body with a blanket.
Margaux only felt at ease after that, and she admitted to feeling relieved.
Margaux closed her eyes because she was so tired, and Declan covered her body with these thick blankets, and even though she didn't move voluntarily, was even loaded as a young man into the room, Margaux still felt like she had run fifty kilometers away.
She managed to speak despite closing her eyes.
"You may depart at this time, Declan, and please accept my gratitude for—"
"Who says I'm leaving? You're the one I sent here," he said, and Margaux opened her eyes wide.
What caused Declan to change so drastically?
It was difficult for a man to look at her even when they were both college students.
What is it, and has the man with Margaux's tone changed today?
Margaux was about to say something in response to Declan, but she was able to hold her tongue when the man touched the back of her head again.
Because of what he had done, Margaux felt as if thousands of volts of electricity were suddenly coursing through her.
"Fuck! Your heat is abnormal; I'll call my private doctor to take care of you and see if there's anything else that's bothering you."
"Don't waste your time, Declan. D-go home—"
"I'll just leave you here when I'm confident you're okay."
Margaux did nothing because the man was insistent, and she couldn't even fight back with a word because she felt like an energy was pulling with all her strength if Margaux was capable of doing so.
"Sleep," but even before she was dragged into the darkness, Margaux felt Declan's lips
press against her brow to give her a tender kiss that caused her to struggle to breathe.
