Morgan and a corrupt doctor have lied to abort Luna's baby so Violet can bear his heir. Heartbroken but resolute, Luna initiates a divorce, giving her uncle seven days to reclaim her stolen legacy.

No More Love, No More Hate Chapter 1

Luna used the inheritance her mother left her to make a deal with her father, just so she could finally marry Morgan.

After the wedding, their love only grew stronger. The only thing missing from their happiness was a child.

Then, after losing two babies by accident, Luna once again started to feel pregnancy symptoms. Excited, she went to the hospital right away, but the doctor told her it was just a digestive problem.

Feeling disappointed and unsure how to tell Morgan, she went home, only to overhear him talking with his half-sister, the same woman who used to bully him, about how they planned to trick her.

“Don’t worry, I already arranged everything. The hospital will say she’s not pregnant. Just like before, I’ll ask the doctor to find an excuse for surgery and make her lose this baby, too.”

“My child can only be born from your womb.”

Hearing those words from inside the room, Luna froze at the door. It felt like all the blood in her body turned cold. She instinctively covered her belly, her heart aching with disbelief.

So, she really was pregnant, but Morgan just didn’t want her to have the baby.

She couldn’t understand at all. He knew better than anyone how much she wanted a child.

Before she could process it all, a woman’s voice came from inside.

“Morgan, you’re so cruel. Aren’t you afraid Luna will find out everything and lose her mind?”

The moment Luna heard that voice, her whole body went stiff. She could never forget it. It was Violet Sanford, her half-sister.

So, her husband was having an affair with her… and the two had a child together. How ridiculous.

Her husband used to hate Violet so much that he wanted her gone. Yet after just a few years, he had fallen in love with her. What a joke.

When Morgan didn’t respond, Violet laughed and leaned closer to him. “What’s wrong? Regretting your decision to be with me now?”

“Too bad, it’s too late. Our son, Ian, is already growing up. You’ll never escape from me.”

Morgan suddenly pushed her away and grabbed her by the neck. “Don’t cross the line, Violet. I’ll make sure Ian becomes part of the Elwood family, but you’ll only ever be my mistress. The title of Mrs. Elwood will always belong to Luna.”

“If it weren’t for her saving me and taking care of me back then, I would’ve been killed by your so-called friends. I owe her and I can never repay that debt.”

“But she was hurt by those men and now struggles with depression. My child must be perfect. His mother can’t have any flaws.”

A flash of anger passed through Violet’s eyes, but she still smiled sweetly. “I know... if my sister hadn’t been... I would never have fought her for you.”

Morgan loosened his grip slightly and leaned down to kiss her.

Outside the door, Luna covered her mouth tightly, trying not to make a sound. Then she turned and quietly left the house.

She walked along the road in a daze. So, in her husband’s eyes, bullying, kidnapping and even killing were not flaws, but being a victim was.

A few minutes later, her phone rang. It was Morgan.

“Luna, I’m so sorry. I was in a meeting and missed your call.”

“It’s okay,” she replied softly.

Sensing something wrong in her tone, his voice grew gentle. “You went to the hospital today, right? So... are you pregnant?”

Her lips curved into a bitter smile as she answered, “The doctor said it’s just a digestive problem.”

He was silent for a moment, then sighed. “It’s okay. We’re still young. We’ll have more chances.”

As he said that, she could hear the disappointment in his voice. If she hadn’t overheard his conversation with her half-sister, she might have felt guilty right now for not being pregnant.

When she didn’t say anything to comfort him as she always did, he frowned. “Luna, don’t you have anything to say to me? Honestly, I really hoped you were pregnant. I even looked at some baby clothes. Our child would look so cute in them…”

Luna felt a bitter irony in her heart. This man wanted her to feel sorry for him.

So, she forced herself to sound weak. “I’m sorry…”

Morgan’s tone was filled with concern now, “Don’t say that. It’s not your fault. Maybe we’re just not meant to have children.”

“By the way, I have a meeting tonight, so I’ll be home late. Get some rest early and don’t wait up for me, okay?”

“Okay,” she said before hanging up.

Ten minutes later, she saw a post from Violet on social media. It showed a picture of red marks on her neck and a huge diamond ring on her hand.

The caption read: [See? Even prisoners can fall for their captors. True love can’t be broken apart.]

Dozens of comments filled the post, congratulating her.

Luna stared at the screen for a long time, then she finally made up her mind and dialed a number.

“Uncle, I’m going to divorce Morgan. Give me seven days. We’ll take back the inheritance my mother left us.”
