Chapter 2

MAGDALENE’S POV.

I never thought I’d be on my knees, gagging on July’s cock at my first time.

I had little experience with males, I expected July to push me out for being clumsy but instead, he moaned my name and pulled my hair as he urged me to suck him faster.

A part of my mind kept whispering that this was wrong, but my other side loved this as hell.

When he came into my mouth, July gave me a kiss on the forehead. “Now, that’s how you be a good girl”

I forced a smile and hurried out of his room immediately.

I locked my door behind me and sank to the floor, my back against the wood.

The taste of him still coated the walls of my mouth, no matter how many times I swallowed, I couldn’t make it go away.

What had I done!?

I stumbled to the bathroom and rinsed my mouth three times, but it didn’t help. Nothing could erase him from my mind, and the way he’d groaned my name like I was the only thing keeping him alive.

The mate bond glowed brighter….

No. I had to sleep. I really needed to sleep. Perhaps all these would just be a dream, as it had always been.

My ringtone blared, jolting me awake from my dream of July.

I reached out to my bedside, where I normally take my phone every morning, but it wasn’t there.

‘Urrgh!’ I groaned as I remembered I’d dropped it on the table.

I grabbed my phone from the table without checking the screen.“Hello?”

“Marg where are you? I’ve been calling since forever!” Mum’s voice rang out.

I instantly snapped awake. “Mum?”

“Oh my, Magdalene! What were you doing?”

My heart thumped. What did she mean by what was I doing?

“I… I was sleeping and…”

She huffed impatiently. “Dammit, Moses just got a call that April got drunk at Nero Club”

I gulped hard. “So…??”

“So…?” Mum scoffed. “This is your chance! Before he called the other brothers, you go there and help him out!”

Panic seized my heart. “Mum I can’t just pick up a drunk guy from a club. What if he …”

“This is an opportunity to get close to him. Now, take a cab and pick April at Nero Club.” Mum finalized, and before I could protest, she ended the call.

I checked the time. It was 9: 00PM— which means I’d slept for the entire afternoon trying to forget what I’d done with July — what I’d let him do with me.

Twenty minutes later, I was showered and dressed, my hair still damp as I left my room..

If I didn’t heed what mum suggested, she would know, and seriously, I can’t deal with her anger. Not now, not ever.

July’s room was locked, and the other person at home was June, cutting laps in the pool.

I got out of the mansion within some minutes, trying my best not to think of July and luckily I got a cab that took me to Nero Club quickly too.

Getting there, I was astonished by the number of youths and people of my age clubbing. Bodies pressed together on the dance floor, and in some corners, some were shifting partially — eyes glowing, claws out, and others looked at me in a way that made my stomach churn.

I stopped for a moment. How was I supposed to find April in this kind of rowdy environment?

I tried calling Mum back, but her phone went straight to voicemail. This added to my perplexity, and I had no other option than to enter the main dance area.

“Hey,” Some males called. “Wanna fuck with me?”

I didn’t dignify him with a response. “Go fuck with your mother”

Usually, I didn’t mind the attention — it was flattering. But tonight, it felt suffocating. All I wanted was to find April and get him home.

I was on the verge of giving up when a hand suddenly tapped me from behind.

I whirled around, ready to tell another perv to fuck off, but it was April.

He staggered drunkenly. “Hey, pretty lady. Did you have a wolf?”

I heaved a sigh of relief. “I came to bring you back. Come with me please”

I reached out, trying to grab his hand but he brushed it away. “Am I ugly?”

Urghhh! How much I hated dealing with drunkards. But I smiled and still tried to get him. “You’re very handsome. No female can resist your charm, now can we go home?”

“No!” April snapped. “If I go back, I’ll have to sleep in that house knowing she’s there… I can’t fuckin touch her!”

Her? Which woman was at home? But I managed to put my arm over his shoulder and lead him to take some steps as I replied. “If you see her again, try to tell her your mind”

He suddenly stopped abruptly. “No! I can’t talk to her. May and July say she’s our sister!”

Wait. “What?” I looked at him shockingly. April was saying he had his eye on me and I was the ‘her’ he’s trying to avoid?

“No. Let’s get you home first” he must be saying these because he was drunk…

Through his other jargons, and staggering, we made it out of the club to the parking lot.

The parking lot lights were steady, unlike the purple and red club neon lighting in the club.

He pulled away from my grip to look at me. I didn’t flinch. Drunkenness might not let him know it’s me.

But I wasn’t so lucky. April gasped. “Marg… Magdalene?”

“You’re drunk let’s get you back home” I panicked but retained my stance.

His eyes shifted dramatically darker, and the drunkenness seemed to fade away. “Marg, it’s you?”

I stepped back. “April, let’s go home,” I warned, sensing some bad vibes. “I really have to get you back home!”

April stumbled forward and grabbed my hand, he reeked of whiskey and something else I couldn’t interpret that made my pulse spike and quicken my heartbeat.

“I get hard when I think of you” he slurred against my neck. “Every fucking night, it’s torture that I don’t get to make you moan my name”

Like what? I wanted to scream. These brothers aren’t normal. First, it was July, and now it’s April? Would I have been scared of them if I’d known they were this vulnerable?

I twisted my hand. “You’re talking nonsense, April. Let me go”

His grip was tight, and thankfully, a wall was nearby. He pinned me against it lustfully. “You’re more than my sister” he whispered.

“April…” I was about to say but the pull… I stopped and looked down at my hand, and just like earlier with July, the golden bond had appeared again.

My heart slammed as I watched the bond slowly trace its way to April’s wrist.

He also gasped as he saw this but smiled happily. “See. We’re mates”

“No” I whispered as if denial would stop the glow. “You can’t be my mate…again!”

Two mates. TWO. And both were my stepbrothers.

This wasn’t possible.. the bond was supposed to be scared, one person destined for you. Not… not this. Not multiples. Not brothers.

What the hell is happening to me!?

“April, reject it,” I pleaded immediately. “Reject this damn bond, April!!”

He laughed sadistically and approached me again. “Over my fuckin dead body will I reject you”

Before I could grasp anything, April was kissing my neck and whispering. “Huh… I’ve imagined this for days!”

A tear slipped free before I could stop it. ‘Why my stepbrothers?’

April’s kiss spread gradually to my chest. I pulled back this time. “No April. We can’t …”

“Says who?” he growled, cutting through my words as his hands ripped my shirt apart.

Thankfully I was wearing a bra now. But April bent down to my level and buried his face in my pushed-up breasts, his breath running down my whole body.

“April…”

He sniffed through my words. “Urggh. You smell fuckin so good…”

“But we have to…”

“Forget about home”

He lifted his head and bent down to pick me up in a bridal style into his car.

If I were told this was the same drunk guy from earlier, I would deny it.

He opened the backseat and dropped me there. Took a little effort to get on top of me, and for a moment, I could see his black wolf through his face and with those eyes…

He was hungry. Damn, so hungry for me, and despite everything, I wanted him to devour me. Even though I’d hate myself later.
