Neglecting Daughter for the Childhood Sweetheart
Chapter 1
My daughter participated in a study tour activity, but due to the mistake of the teacher in charge, she was seriously injured.
Her condition was critical and required immediate surgery!
As soon as the doctor finished speaking, my husband rushed in with the teacher who caused my daughter's injury. "She had depression before, and now her condition is very bad!
Save her first!"
Didn't he say he had a project to discuss today? I called him so many times, and he said he was busy.
"I am the father of that child. Her condition is not that serious."
"But the child is bleeding internally and needs immediate rescue!" A strange doctor was more anxious than my husband.
"If something happens to my child, I am responsible!" My husband impatiently pushed the teacher into the emergency room.
Was our biological daughter less important than a stranger?
Moreover, while my daughter was still in the rescue period, my husband wanted to divorce me because of his first love, thinking it was all my fault to frighten her.
After I completely turned away, he cried and begged me to come back.
——
My daughter fell down from the mountain and was covered in blood.
But my husband pretended not to see, and gently comforted the pale-faced Vivian, saying, "I finally found you. The accident is all our fault and has nothing to do with you.
I will help you hire a lawyer. Just focus on recovering.
"Our fault?"
It was clearly Vivian's negligence that caused our daughter to be seriously injured.
In my desperation, I had to send my daughter to another hospital, and my husband never cared about our daughter at all.
The lights in the operating room were always on, and I was the only one outside the door, anxiously pacing. I became even more disappointed in my husband.
I even saw Vivian's post on social media: [Thank you for the chicken soup you made.]
She had a rosy complexion as she leaned on the broad shoulder of the man, with steaming hot chicken soup next to her.
I held my breath. Cameron and I had been married for seven years, and it had always been me who cooked for Cameron. I had never eaten anything he cooked.
He was completely focused on that woman until the evening when our daughter's surgery was completed, and she fell into a coma in the ward, and he arrived late.
I thought he would explain to me or care about our daughter, but I didn't expect him to directly throw a divorce agreement in my face.
"I didn't expect you to be so malicious, teaching our daughter to frame and harm Vivian! I will sue you immediately and then divorce you. You'd better get out of my sight with that bastard!"
"Wasn't it her who asked our daughter to pick those flowers? Why did it become me defaming her?" I was confused by him and asked loudly.
"She has suffered from depression before and been greatly traumatized. And I know her. She is so kind-hearted. How could she possibly disregard the safety of her students to satisfy her own desires? She has been scared because of Tina's injuries," Cameron said confidently.
He even took out Vivian's previous medical records to show to the people around him. Everyone was puzzled and was fooled by his rhetoric.
I was about to confront him when the doctor rushed in anxiously and said, "Ma'am, your daughter's condition is very serious. She needs to be transferred to a state hospital. She hasn't passed the critical period yet and still needs to be observed!"
I panicked and grabbed Cameron's arm, saying, "Cameron, our daughter hasn't passed the critical period yet. Can we put the divorce on hold for now, considering her feelings?"
Cameron glanced at me disdainfully and said, "You can take care of that bastard yourself. We've been married for seven years, and you haven't even been able to give birth to a boy. You're useless!
I'm so annoyed just looking at you!"
After saying that, he threw me to the ground fiercely.
The situation on my daughter's side was getting worse and worse, almost in shock several times. My fingers were deeply embedded in the flesh, but I couldn't feel any pain.
However, my husband completely ignored our daughter's dangerous situation and held Vivian's hand, showing great concern, afraid that something might happen to her.
Our daughter's lips showed no trace of color, and her body temperature was getting lower and lower. The doctor quickly notified the superior hospital and sent our daughter into the emergency room again.
I took my daughter to the state hospital overnight. Although it was already 2 o'clock in the morning, I couldn't sleep at all.
Looking at the anxious doctors coming and going, and the constantly flashing surgical lights, my heart kept pounding.
The surgical lights had always been red, and the doctors inside had never come out. Tears kept streaming down my face, but my husband sent me the divorce agreement again.
There was only one cold sentence, "You leave with nothing."
