Chapter 2

I looked up and glared at Adrian. "I am the eldest daughter of the Rossi family. No matter now or in the future, I will always be the only eldest daughter of the Rossi family. Everything you have was given by our Rossi family."

"If I hadn't saved you, you would have been beaten to death at St. Christopher's Orphanage. Our Rossi family raised you for many years, is this how you repay us?"

Adrian's eyes flashed with a hint of guilt, "You did me a favor back then, but you shouldn't embarrass Sister Lillian."

"She is the daughter of the Housekeeper. She comes from a very humble family. She was sponsored by kind people to go to school. She is so pitiful. Why are you still fighting with her for the necklace? You have so many jewels. Can't you give her the necklace?"

I said sarcastically, "Lillian's life is indeed pitiful, but her pity is not caused by me. Why should I pay for her pity?"

"That necklace is not only worth tens of millions of dollars, but it is also the only thing my mother left me. I will never give the necklace to anyone, let alone give my mother's thing to someone like Lillian."

Lillian was mocked by me and gave me a resentful look.

Then she pretended to be wronged and cried in front of Adrian: "Isabella actually said that to me. I have a poor family background. Just because of my poor family background, is it that I am not worthy of wearing a necklace worth tens of millions of dollars and living a very comfortable life like Isabella?"

"Isabella already owns the whole world, why would she fight with me for a small necklace?"

"Wuwu, Brother Adrian, if I don't vent my anger, I will die in front of you today."

Lillian wanted to wear a necklace worth tens of millions, but she didn't do it through her own efforts. She just wanted to take it from me.

Because I rejected something that didn't belong to her, it became a kind of original sin for me.

Although her words were ridiculous, Adrian agreed with them. "Sister Lillian is right. Isabella has only been able to live an aristocratic life since she was a child because her father is rich. Apart from her noble birth, she is far inferior to you in every other aspect."

Adrian stared at me and spoke again: "Since you are my wife and pregnant with my child, I can give you a chance. As long as you apologize to Sister Lillian and get her forgiveness, I can have someone pull you up."

It turns out that Adrian knew that I was his wife and that I was pregnant with his child.

But he forced me to kneel down to him for the sake of a housekeeper's daughter.

After Lillian spoke coquettishly to Adrian, she looked at me and said smugly, "What Isabella said before really hurt my self-esteem. She can apologize, but she has to kneel down and apologize. Only then will I forgive her."

"Isabella, you will do what I say, right?"

Adrian was stunned.

He didn't expect Lillian to add to his request.

As Lillian pulled his arm, leaned her plump body towards him, and cast a seductive look, Adrian no longer hesitated as he did at the beginning, nodded and said, "That's right, what Sister Lillian said makes sense."

"Over the years, you have relied on Victor's indulgence and developed a lawless temper. In order to let you know who is the real master of this family, I must teach you a lesson today."

Adrian actually said that I was spoiled.

Not only am I beautiful and talented, I am also recognized as well-educated in high society.
