Luke sneered, "You should've known long ago that all my projects came from Shania. How does it feel to be betrayed by the person closest to you?"

"Oh, right, and your damned old parents, always saying my eyes weren't right, always telling you to stay away from me. One phone call from me and boom, they had a car accident. I remember before they died, they were still calling me, begging me not to hurt you!" he laughed.

At that moment, my eyes turned blood red.

The gruesome image of my parents' car crash flashed through my mind. So it was Luke who killed them.

I couldn't hold it back anymore. I clenched my fist and slammed it hard into his face.

In seconds, a swollen red mark appeared on Luke's cheek. But instead of fought back, he fell to the ground with my momentum.

I wanted to hit him again, but Shania rushed over with security and held me back tightly. She hugged Luke protectively, her eyes blazed with fury as she looked at me and yelled, "Gabriel, are you insane? Luke kindly came to share his experience with you and you hit him?"

The onlookers crowded closer, itches to kick me.

Luke leaned weakly on Shania's shoulder, clutched his wound with a pitiful expression.

He stuttered, "Shania, I'm sorry. I just wanted to apologize to Gabriel for the past misunderstanding. I didn't expect him to attack me out of nowhere. It's fine. If it weren't for his sponsorship back then, I wouldn't be where I am today. Let's just call it even."

The rage inside me exploded and I struggled furiously, "Even? How is this even? Shania, how exactly did his company rise to success? Don't you owe me an explanation?"

A flicker of panic flashed in Shania's eyes. But she quickly calmed down and said, "Explain what? I investigated everything back then. Luke was abroad the whole time. How could he have plagiarized you? Besides, I always helped you analyze why you failed. If your work sucks, just admit it. Don't blame others. Gabriel, I really misjudged you!"

With her accusation, the crowd erupted in discussion again. They said, "What's wrong with this guy? Even after Shania said all that, he's still trying to slander Luke? He doesn't even trust his own wife."

Another person chimed in, "He's just some orphan with dead parents, he really thinks he's somebody, huh?"

"Shania, better get someone to check on Mr. Hudson's injuries. Don't delay his upcoming speech," said a woman.

Shania glanced at me coldly, then turned and walked away with Luke. She ordered, "Throw him out. Don't let him back in until the press conference is over!"

I stared blankly at Shania's retreated figure and muttered softly, "Shania, we're finished."

Security dragged me out like a dog and tossed me to the ground.

I gave a bitter smile, straightened my messy clothes, looked toward the main entrance and dialed a number, I said, "It's time. You can come in now."

After that, I packed my luggage and left the divorce papers on the coffee table.

As I boarded the plane, I uploaded all the evidence to the internet in one go and pulled out my SIM card.

Meanwhile, back at the event, Luke stood on stage confidently recounted his rise to success. He presented, "Next, I will reveal the Hudson Group's latest R&D achievement. It is ..."

The doors burst open and a group of stern-faced people walked in.

Luke's face darkened, he shouted, "Who are you? Do you know where this is? Get out now, or don't blame me for being rude!"

But the other side showed no fear. One of them gave a signal.

The person next to him immediately stepped forward and said sternly, "This is a court summons. Our firm is suing you for stealing Mr. Lambert's patented work. Please appear in court on time."
