My Uncle's Family Robbed My House
Chapter 1
My uncle and his family occupied my house for three years and refused to return it.
My father went to their door to demand it back but was humiliated in every possible way.
My mother's life was filled with tears every day.
After I returned home from the mental hospital, I sent a message to my uncle Luke Reed on my phone.
[Since you all like living in my house so much, don't ever come out again in this lifetime!]
I called a renovation company and had them seal the doors and windows, so they could live in there forever!
[Annalise Marshall, what are you trying to do? I warn you not to mess around, otherwise, I won't show you any mercy!]
After receiving my message, Luke replied to me immediately with a voice message.
Hearing his threats, I didn't hesitate and called a few workers right away.
Seeing my actions, my parents were full of worry.
"We can talk with them peacefully. After all, we are relatives!"
I shook my head and told my mother that you treated them as relatives, but they didn't.
Luke's family used to be very poor. Three years ago, they borrowed my villa as a wedding gift for Yadiel Reed.
After he had a villa as a family asset, the wedding naturally went smoothly.
But after getting married, they said that as newlyweds, it was not suitable for them to move, and they asked us to give them some time.
And then, they said that since my villa had no one to live in anyway, why not just lend them so that they could take care of it?
At that time, I didn't pay much attention to these words.
My parents couldn't get used to such a big house, and I spent most of my time abroad. I thought I would let them live there first and asked them to move out when I came back.
But I didn't expect they would think that the villa belonged to them after three years of living there.
My father went to ask for it and was treated like a beggar and kicked out by them.
My mother was even more self-blaming, crying all day long.
I used to be abroad and didn't know about this situation.
After I returned home three months ago, my mental state was not very good, so I had been receiving treatment in the hospital and had no time to take care of it.
Now that I was back home, I could never tolerate others living in my villa and being extremely arrogant!
After the workers arrived, I didn't hesitate and I didn't care if there were people inside the villa. I just said to them.
"Seal all the doors and windows. They want to live, right? I will let them live inside forever!"
At first, the workers hesitated and felt that I was making trouble.
But when they saw the deed in my hand, they immediately acted and started sealing the doors with their tools.
They were paid to do it. As long as I was the homeowner, it wouldn't be a problem even if I asked them to demolish the house.
"What are you doing? Why are you making a mess in my house?"
The loud noise startled Yadiel's wife, Samara Casey, who was cursing angrily at the workers.
"Is it your house? Are you kidding me?"
Hearing my voice, she looked at me up and down, and then suddenly realized something with a disdainful expression on her face.
"Are you Annalise, that shameless relative of Yadiel?
"Some time ago, your parents came and caused trouble, and now you're bringing your people here. Do you think that you can do whatever you want just because you're our relative?
"Just be realistic. You're an adult and can earn money by yourself to buy a house. Why do you have to take our house?"
I was a bit confused by her words.
It was as if it was such a shameless thing for me to take back the house that belonged to me!
But soon I understood.
She had been deceived by Luke and his family all along and didn't know that I was the owner of the house, so she got furious.
The workers stopped beside us.
They had no idea what was going on.
Just as I was about to let them continue their work, Yadiel walked out of the house!
He had a cold expression, and his eyes were filled with impatience.
"Annalise, you've caused enough trouble!"
Looking at his expression, I became even more surprised.
Samara didn't know whose villa it was, but he was very clear about it!
When Luke and his family came to borrow our house, they cried and begged so miserably.
They said that without a house, Yadiel wouldn't get married, which would be something disgraceful in the Reed family. They hoped we could help them.
They also emphasized they would never forget my kindness for the rest of their lives.
And they would return the house to me anytime if I wanted.
The villa was the first place I bought for myself, and every detail inside was designed by me, so I had a special feeling for the villa.
Originally, I didn't want to lend it to others.
But after all, they were my relatives, and my mother also persuaded me at that time.
Thinking that their family looked pitiful, I agreed.
But at the moment, Yadiel seemed to be indicating that I shouldn't have come!
Was this what they meant by not forgetting our kindness?
"You have already got married and had a child. How long does your family plan to live in my villa?"
I just went straight to the point.
And I could still control my temper.
"Look at her! She just came here and tried to get the house as if it's hers!"
Samara was pissed off and complained to Yadiel.
As for Yadiel, he was also annoyed, but before he could say anything, his parents rushed back home.
"Annalise, are you crazy? You actually brought the workers here!"
They began to scold me angrily.
They probably didn't expect that a girl like me would be so efficient in handling things.
Maybe they thought my parents were weak and easy to handle, so I would also be that kind of person!
I looked at him coldly, "Do you think I was just kidding?"
They didn't dare to meet my gaze and just asked Yadiel and Samara to go in quickly, saying that they would handle it themselves.
Before Samara went in, she couldn't help but complain that it was such a bad fortune to have such a relative!
I burst out laughing when I heard this.
I thought, Who's the one that is having such a bad fortune?
I let you live in the villa out of kindness, but now I'm regarded as the bad guy.
If I had known the current situation, I wouldn't have lent it to these ungrateful people!
"Luke, you'd better handle this quickly and move out. Otherwise, I will go to the police station with the deed. Then don't ask for mercy from me if you're driven out!"
I shook the deed in my hand, and Luke, who was still furious, suddenly changed his expression and forced a smile quickly!
"Annalise, we are all family. Why do we have to make it so unpleasant?"
Family? I thought.
You finally realize I am your family when it comes to this point.
When my father came to discuss this matter not long ago, they not only closed the door but also called security to drive him away.
They claimed that my father was just a beggar and never allowed him to appear in the community.
My father fought with those people at the time, but fell on his leg and couldn't even walk normally now!
"Luke, when my dad came to find you, your whole family was so heartless!"
I sneered at him, "What about having the security throw your whole family?"
When Raina heard it, she grabbed my hand hurriedly and said it was just a misunderstanding. They thought it was not my father at the time.
They both seemed to know they were in the wrong and said with an embarrassed smile.
"Annalise, please come in and take a seat!"
Just as I was about to enter the gate, Samara's contemptuous voice came.
"Raina, what happened? Why did you invite a stranger to our house? What if she steals something?"
