My Sister Wants Me To Provide For Her Family

Wendy knew that persuading our parents was pointless, so later that afternoon, she showed up at their house with Charlie. At the doorstep, the two of them fell to their knees while crying.

“Mom, Dad, please, please save Liam. Please save our family.

“Even if it’s not for me, you have to think of Charlie.

“I don’t even have enough money to feed him.”

My mother remained in bed. Through tears, she asked me to persuade Wendy to come on in.

I did, but Wendy would not listen.

She kept repeating that as long as we did not lend money to Liam, she would continue kneeling in front of our parents’ house with Charlie.

She would only enter the house with Charlie once we agreed to lend her money.

She stayed there until night fell. All our neighbors had come home to rest.

She was still crying, and all the neighbors came over to watch her cry.

She even stopped me from going home.

“If you don’t give me any money today, you can’t leave!

“Charlie, cry to your aunt!”

Charlie was very tiny. He was about the same size as my child who had died in the past.

His cries were very feeble.

He did not even have a jacket on in the cold weather.

His mother was forcing him to cry to obtain my help. I felt sorry for the clueless child.

My father could not stand seeing her and Charlie in that state. He pulled me back into the house.

Once inside, he suddenly fell to his knees and begged me. I was extremely shocked and also fell to my knees to meet his level.

It was not right for him to do that as an elder.

“Dad, what are you doing?”

“Please save your younger sister. Your mother and I really don’t have that much money.”

After he said that, my mother also kneeled down. Both of them begged and coerced me to give Wendy money.

My hand trembled when I called Ben.

Ben immediately rushed over to my place and prepared to take me to the bank.

Wendy was still throwing a tantrum and wanted to stop me from leaving.

“I’m leaving to get you the money! Don’t be ridiculous!”

I was so furious that I slapped her.

“Why should your brother-in-law lend you money? Can’t you be more mature and stop causing trouble to me?”

Wendy fell silent and she let us leave.

After we took the money, they were no longer outside the house. The living room was also empty.

I only heard someone talking when I got closer to my parents’ bedroom.

“After Ben and Ruby die, Olivia won’t be able to do anything. All their money will belong to Charlie.”

It was my mother’s voice.

“Ruby doesn’t want a second child, so she should let Charlie inherit all her money.

“That’s better than having some illegitimate child of Ben coming to take the money. It’s better for Charlie to have the money than some outsider.

“Isn’t that right, Charlie?”

“That’s right! After Aunt Ruby dies, her money belongs to me.”

Charlie said.

“When Ruby returns, just be nice to her. She’s soft-hearted.”

I laughed as tears streamed down my cheeks.

They knew I was soft-hearted, so they always schemed against me.

It turned out my family was lying to me and putting up a show.

When they asked me for money, they brought up the fact that we were a family, but they never thought of me as one of them when they lied to me.

I was overwhelmed with the disappointment of being lied to. I felt my heart throbbing in pain.

Ben’s expression was dark. He moved forward to kick the door open.

I stopped him.

We placed the money on the table and left.

That would be the first and the last time I ever gave them money. From then on, I would never give them a single cent.

They were plotting to get my money even while I was alive. It was one thing to scheme against me; it was another thing to target my daughter.

I was extremely disappointed.

All these so-called family members were parasites.
