My Revenge: Kicking Out the Cheating Man
Chapter 2
I was the only child in my family. My parents, who were from the rural area, managed to send me to college.
They knew that I was dating Troy.
His parents met mine before. This time, the elders of the Malone family would discuss the settled matters with my parents.
My parents naturally agreed. To save face for me, they even bought a second-hand car.
But they had a car accident on the way.
The doctor contacted me. Everything was proceeding normally. They would have surgery and go through the necessary examinations.
But the problem was that all the doctors who could perform the surgery today had been transferred, and it was unknown when they would return.
My parents were in a critical condition.
In this situation, I thought of Troy. His family ran a private hospital, and they should be able to arrange doctors.
The phone was quickly answered, but it was a woman's voice on the other end.
I didn't have time to identify whose voice it was. I quickly explained my current situation, hoping it could be conveyed.
There was a period of silence on the phone.
I had been waiting for so long.
It had only been a few seconds, but I felt like it had been a century.
The one over the call seemed to have said something.
Troy answered the phone indifferently, "I'm busy. Don't come to me for everything. I'm busy."
"It's just a car accident. Any ordinary doctor can handle it. I am going to hang up."
When I called him again, I was prompted with a message. [The one over the call can't be reached.]
The doctor had mentioned several times that my parents were in critical condition, so I hurriedly called Troy's parents and finally saw a glimmer of hope.
"I'll send someone over right away. Wait."
"I'll contact a doctor later."
With their response, I was slightly at ease in my heart.
