Chapter 1

My future daughter-in-law, Chloe Cyrus, knelt on the floor in a deep V-neck lace nightgown, her face flushed with a hint of longing as she looked up at me.

"Mr. Edison, let me take good care of you tonight."

My eyes fell on the proud, smooth swell exposed at her chest, and I swallowed hard. "This… this isn't appropriate, is it?"

The next second, she pressed herself tightly against me and crouched down. My mind went blank with desire…

Ever since my wife passed, I hadn't been with anyone. I raised our son all by myself, year after year.

Now, watching him grow up healthy and strong filled me with quiet pride.

What made me even happier was that he was getting married next month.

That day, he called and asked me to go to their new place to help his fiancée, Chloe Cyrus, move some things.

When I arrived, I noticed the door was unlocked, but she wasn't there.

'Careless girl,' I thought. 'Aren't you worried someone might steal your stuff?'

While waiting for her, I figured I'd tidy up a bit.

But no sooner had I picked up the broom than I heard strange, hushed sounds coming from the bedroom. I crept closer. There she was—legs spread wide, facing the mirror, amusing herself.

I was shocked.

So she was home. Was my son not satisfying her? How could she be doing something like this in broad daylight?

She caught sight of me too, yelped in surprise, and scrambled under the covers. "Mr. Edison! Why didn't you knock before coming in?"

I felt awkward. "Finn said you needed help moving some things. I thought you weren't here…"

As I spoke, my eyes landed on a pair of black panties she'd left by the bed. They looked damp, slick with moisture.

I gulped again without thinking. She noticed my gaze, her face turning red. "Mr. Edison, please… get out."

Realizing I'd overstepped, I quickly looked away and shut the door.

I sat on the sofa, my mind in chaos.

That image of her, lost in her own pleasure, wouldn't leave my head.

For a man who'd been alone for over a decade, it was a deadly temptation. For a moment, I wanted nothing more than to pin her beneath me right then and there.

But the second that thought surfaced, I startled myself.

No. She's my son's future wife.

Just then, she changed clothes and pushed the door open. Long, fair legs. Bare shoulders peeking out from an off-the-shoulder top paired with a tight miniskirt that hugged every curve of her dangerously alluring figure.

I couldn't take my eyes off her.

The dark thoughts I'd barely suppressed came flooding back.

If only she were my woman. I wouldn't do a thing all day but take her over and over again. How could such a goddess be left to fend for herself?

"Mr. Edison, I'm ready. Let's go." She flashed a coy smile and headed to the entryway to put on her shoes.

The moment she bent over, I nearly lost my glasses from shock.

Her plush, peach-like bottom, pale and full, was completely exposed. Good heavens—she wasn't wearing a thing underneath.

I could even make out the moist, rosy shadow between her legs.

My whole body burned. I forced myself to look away, terrified that one more glance would push me to do something unforgivable.

She'd been sharing a place with her roommate before, and now she needed to move her things over. Since it wasn't far, we decided to take the bus.

While waiting at the bus stop, she suddenly leaned close and whispered, "Mr. Edison… are you lonely?"

Her question caught me completely off guard.

"Finn told me you're… especially well-endowed? He also said you found a few girlfriends for him over the years, but none of them could handle you. That's why they never stayed."

"What? That's…" I was mortified. That idiot son of mine—how could he tell his future wife something like that?
