Chapter 3

Coincidentally, Heather sent me a provocative message to show off that Dustin was going to have an in-depth conversation with her tonight.

Dustin just stared at me in a daze and remained silent.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. It was so painful that I broke out in a cold sweat and couldn't help gasping.

He panicked and hurried over to help me.

"Angelica, don't be angry. Listen to me..."

I sneered and forced back my tears. "Sure. Tell me, why did you sleep with my best friend? Why did you lie to me that you were still on a business trip?"

Dustin scratched his head irritably and patiently explained to me, "You hated Heather, didn't you? I was afraid that you would get angry if you knew, so I didn't tell you!"

"After the party that day, we all drank too much, and I went to Heather's house to sleep. But don't worry, we didn't sleep together. Cesar slept with her..."

Was it something to be proud of?

I knew almost all of Dustin's friends. Cesar got married several years earlier than us, and he even had two children.

Not only did these married men not keep a distance from other women, but they also lay on the same bed with them openly.

Were they proud of it?

I picked up the phone on the ground and showed the photo Heather sent him. I sneered and said, "You didn't sleep with her? She has already sent you such a sexy photo. You're disgusting."

"Do you dare to deny that you sent these explicit words to her?"

"It's so warm. I want to eat it."

Dustin looked at me anxiously. "It's not me. A friend of mine likes Heather and asked me to help him pursue her, so he chatted with her on my account. I didn't expect Heather to think it was me, so you made such a misunderstanding."

Seeing that I didn't believe him, he took out his phone and dialed Heather's number.

Soon, a delicate female voice came from the other end. "Dustin, you finally remembered me..."

Before she could finish her words, she was coldly interrupted by Dustin. "Be serious. You know that Angelica is pregnant, but you still sent her those photos. What do you mean?"

Heather snorted discontentedly and shouted, "I was just angry. She controls you all day long and wants to tie you to her side. How can I see you so humble as your buddy? So I deliberately angered her. So what? I'm going to let anger kill her!"

Dustin pretended to be helpless and pinched the space between his eyebrows. "Angelica has misunderstood us. Hurry up and explain it. I wasn't the one chatting with you..."

"Angelica, Dustin didn't chat with me. We're best friends. How could I do something like snatching your boyfriend?"

"I don't have such a disgusting best friend like you," I said to Heather expressionlessly.

"You can't blame me for that. She doesn't believe the truth."

Looking at them acting, I felt tired and found them hypocritical. I turned around and went into the bedroom.

Dustin followed me in. When he saw that I was packing up my luggage, he got angry and grabbed the clothes in my hand.

"Angelica, what are you doing? Haven't I explained it already?"

I calmly withdrew my hand. "Let's divorce."

Dustin's expression turned even gloomier as he stared at my face for a long time.

In the end, as if to emphasize how disappointed he was, he let out a long sigh.

"Angelica, you're not the only person in my world. I need my space and friends. Whether you believe it or not, Heather and I are just friends. Even if something happened between us, my heart is still with you."

So, this was a disguised admission.

I curled my lips sarcastically and showed him the posts.

"Dustin, I gave you a chance. You like dresses so much, don't you? I'll let you be with her, okay?"

Dustin's face gradually paled, and his voice trembled. "Who sent you this?"

"Of course, it's your buddy."

Plop.

He knelt in front of me and crazily slapped himself in the face. With red eyes, he explained, "Angelica. I admit that I fell in love with her for a moment, but I have no feelings for her. Really, I promise..."

In the past, I believed every word he said unconditionally. But now, no matter what he said, I felt that it was fake and deceptive.

"Angelica, I swear, I know I was wrong. Please forgive me this time! Even if you hate me, think about the child in your belly. He can't live without a father!"

I lifted my head to prevent my tears from falling.

"Dustin, let's get a divorce. I don't want you anymore... I don't want my child, either."
