My Husband's First Love Broke My Mother-in-law's Urn
Chapter 4
"Ah!"
Luna gave me a wicked smile, then deliberately screamed and kicked the urn over.
With a "bang," the urn described a parabola in the air. Then, it fell, shattering on the ground.
The grayish-white ashes scattered all over.
She jumped, darting into Matthew's arms. Her chest heaved as if she was terribly scared.
"Violet, because I exposed your act, and you targeted me and used this dead person's thing to scare me!
"Matthew, I was so scared!"
Matthew patted Luna's back, gently comforting her, then pointed at me and cursed angrily, "You brought this unlucky thing back to scare Luna. How could you be so vicious!
"Hurry up and throw this thing out!"
After speaking, he kicked the ashes hard, scattering them.
Luna took the opportunity to step on the ashes, grinding them triumphantly.
Watching the scattered ashes, my temples throbbed!
He said this thing was unlucky!
He said his mom's ashes were unlucky!
Oh, no! He always thought it was my mom!
Actually, he let Luna kick her mom's urn and stomp on it!
I trembled with anger. I raised my hand and slapped Matthew hard on the face.
"You are the unlucky thing!
"Matthew, you unfilial, filthy thing. You should be the one to get out!
"Take your mistress and get out! Don't dirty my place!"
Matthew was stunned by my slap. His face was full of disbelief. He never thought I would dare to hit him.
Luna jumped out, defending Matthew.
"Violet, what's wrong with you?
"The unloved one is the mistress! How dare you insult me like this!
"What right do you have to kick Matthew out? This is Matthew's house. If anyone should leave, it's you!"
I laughed angrily. Matthew was flaunting my house with his mistress.
"Matthew, you say this is your house?"
Matthew's face turned livid with rage and shame. He blurted out, "Of course! Your mom died. I am your only family, so this house is naturally mine!"
Even though I had seen his shameless face, his words still disgusted me.
No wonder he refused to give me money for the rescue. He wanted to wait for my mom to die so that I would have no legal heir left in this world. Then he could take over the house and devour my family's estate!
I truly felt Mia didn't deserve this.
Her life was lost to her son's filthy schemes!
My voice was mournful, "Matthew, who told you the one who died was my mom?"
He was furious, pointing at me and threatening, "You shrew! If it's not your mom, could it be my mom?
"You have such a venomous heart. You even cursed my mom! My mom was so good to you, yet you are so vicious!
"You don't deserve to be my wife! I want a divorce!
"I will tell my mom that you are such a malicious person!"
He took out his phone and repeatedly dialed Mia's number.
Unfortunately, he could never reach her again.
He became anxious, pointing at me and demanding, "Where is my mom? Why can't I reach her? What did you do to my mom?"
I pointed to the scattered ashes on the ground.
"Your mom is right under your precious Luna's feet."
