My Husband and Best Friend Got Married
My Husband and Best Friend Got Married Chapter 1
On our wedding day, my husband's younger brother made inappropriate jokes with my best friend.
To defend her, I caused a scene at the wedding and fell out with my husband's family!
My best friend earnestly advised me that I shouldn't marry into such a family.
But just two days later, she and my husband registered their marriage!

"Oh, nothing's more fun than my sister-in-law!"
"With my sister-in-law's friend having such a great figure and my sister-in-law being so beautiful, my brother will be able to enjoy the best of both worlds in the future!"
I had just stepped out of the dressing room when I overheard such disgusting comments around my best friend, Destiny Kaur.
Today is supposed to be the happiest day of my life.
Destiny's bridesmaid dress had been pulled down to her arms by those men.
She was blushing, trying to run away, but Junior Powell and his buddies were grinning as they cornered her.
When Destiny saw me, her eyes lit up.
I gave her a reassuring look, ignoring the other guests as I picked up my wedding dress, ready to stand up for her.
To my surprise, Destiny cried out in a trembling voice, "James, please control your brother!"
I turned around, only to realize that my husband had somehow appeared beside me.
I found it odd that Destiny called out to my husband first, but because I was worried about her, I didn't dwell on it.
James Powell, acting as if he hadn't heard Destiny, wrapped his arm around my waist and complimented me affectionately. "You look stunning today, my love."
I was still upset and angry about his brother bothering Destiny. "Go deal with your brother!"
James frowned, as if he had only just noticed what was going on. He smiled and said, "As you wish, my dear! It's our big day. Don't be upset."
He walked over and sternly intervened. "Alright, enough messing around. Don't go overboard—she's your sister-in-law's best friend."
Destiny ran to James like she'd found her savior, grabbing onto his suit sleeve and whining. "James, you have to stand up for me!"
I didn't notice any of this, still glaring at Junior, who showed no remorse. I snapped. "How dare you laugh!"
Before I could finish, I was pushed aside.
It was my mother-in-law in a casual dress.
On her son's wedding day, a day as important as this, she had shown up in such casual clothes!
She stood in front of Junior and said, "Ayah, how dare you scold my son? You've got some nerve!"
I replied coldly, "Do you know what Junior just said to my friend? Today is our wedding day, and he shouldn't be talking like that!"
I thought my mother-in-law would discipline her spoiled son after hearing the whole story.
But instead, she slapped me across the face.
