Holding them high, I aimed to get them in front of the camera. "These are my identification documents! My relationship with Barry is completely innocent—there's no hidden agenda between us!"

I spoke with as much conviction as I could muster despite the indignation burning in my heart.

But Kristen wasn't having any of it. With a mocking laugh, she swiped my ID and documents from my hands, sending them crashing to the floor. She continued to incite the crowd, saying, "Don't be fooled by her. She must have prepared these documents in advance!"

I fixed my gaze on Kristen and said coldly, "Kristen, I suggest you ask Barry yourself about our relationship."

Kristen spat out, her eyes filled with hatred and jealousy.

"Pfft, what's there to ask? It's clear you're just a scheming vixen trying to seduce him! My husband is the General Manager of Grandor Entertainment. He's seen countless beautiful women. If he's interested in you, it's only because you've been clingy to him!"
