My Fiancé Took My kidney For His First Love
Chapter 1
My dad suddenly fell seriously ill and needed a kidney transplant.
The kidney we had waited for was taken by someone else.
I stormed into the director's office, only to see my boyfriend, James Scott, comforting a woman while pressuring the director.
“No matter what conditions the other party sets, this kidney must be kept for Ms. Perez.
“I can invest another three hundred million.”
I rushed over and begged him on my knees to give the kidney back to me.
He looked at me coldly, “Jane Miller! This is a matter of life and death. I won’t let you mess around.”
He pried my fingers off his clothes one by one, pulled out his phone, blocked me, and left holding the woman, Alice Perez's hand.
Three days later, I knelt in front of my father's grave and received a message from James Scott.
“Postpone the wedding dress fitting by three days.
“Alice's uncle's surgery failed. She’s upset, so I'll stay with her for three days.
“If you hadn't caused a scene that day, the success rate of the surgery would have been much higher.
“Jane, please be reasonable.”
The message bubbles kept popping up. I slowly recalled that day.
Watching him walk out with Alice, I crazily blocked his way and demanded he return the kidney to me.
“This is the kidney you've been waiting for three months? Alice's uncle needs the kidney. You came to snatch it and even cursed your father?
“Jane, how could you be so bad?”
I tried to explain, but he waved his hand. His assistant immediately forced me away.
Alice glanced back at me, her eyes full of mocking contempt.
“James Scott! You can't do this!” I screamed hysterically, “I'm not lying. You can check the hospital admission records, check the ward. Please give me back the kidney!”
The man showed no emotion and walked away decisively.
“James Scott, I’m pregnant!”
These words finally made James stop. He turned back and walked up to me.
His deep eyes showed no surprise, only deeper disgust.
“Jane!
“I said it’s a matter of life and death. This kidney can only be for Alice.
“Aren't you disgusted with yourself for being this jealous?”
I laughed as I watched his figure walk away.
"Look, this is the man I loved for six whole years."
I worked hard to get into his university, learned all his favorite dishes, and sacrificed my own preferences to fit into his world.
My wholehearted sincerity was met with blatant cruelty.
For his lover, he used his power to take away someone else's right to live.
Four years of love and three years of pursuit turned out to be a joke.
I found Alice’s uncle’s hospital room in a daze.
Alice stood with her arms crossed, looking at the elderly man in the bed. She coldly ordered, “Lie down properly and stay away from me.”
The sallow-faced old man fearfully pulled back his leg and looked down timidly.
“So, this isn’t your uncle.”
Alice suddenly turned around, the victory in her eyes fleeting. She grabbed my skirt and knelt down, crying and kneeling down.
“Ms. Miller, I know you’re James’s girlfriend now, but this is a matter of life and death. Please spare my uncle. He needs this kidney!
“I promise, I swear, I won’t interfere with your relationship. Ms. Miller, I beg you!”
“Jane!” I was violently thrown aside, hitting my forehead on the corner of the wall.
Through the blurred blood, I saw James' furious face.
