Eloisa keeps calling me in the middle of the night. I ignored her calls because I want to spend the night with Lucy. Even the alcohol takes over my sanity, I still know what I am doing. What took him so long? Is he going to leave me because I am now a bedridden and useless wife in bed? I know I made a mistake for keeping him my illness but I just want to die happy and to have someone by my side. 

I can't walk on my own without a wheelchair and my hair is falling off on its own. My time is almost over but he can't act like that to show me his rebellious side. 

"Ana can you call Adam for me!" I shouted from my room on the voice radio speaker that connected to the whole house where anyone could hear me. 

Any minute, Ana came.

"Yes, ma'am. Adam is on his way." Ana told me.

"Thank you," I said and she left again. 

Ana is my nurse. 

At last, Adam arrived. He just came from our company. He was my bodyguard. He never leaves without his phone and company phone but I was surprised to see them on the bedside table. He was very hard to reach so Adam is my only option to check if he went to work or not. I'm still thinking, where did he sleep last night? Did he sleep in a hotel? 

I need to stay calm and focus. Kent would never do such a thing. He loves me so much and I did everything to give him the company he wanted. 

"Good morning, ma'am. Did you call for me?" Adam bowed his head and greeted me. 

I smiled at him. Ana came back to help me got up from my bed. 

"Did Kent reported to the office today?" I asked him. 

He nods his head. 

"I saw him coming late, ma'am. He was now inside his office to meet his new secretary" he answered politely. 

I raised my eyebrows. I hope she's not as clumsy as the last one. 

"Oh, I see. Did the interview go well? I hope the board of directors chose a great applicant for him. He's very hard to please." I said and Adam approved of my opinion. 

Before I forgot, I took my husband's phone and handed it to him. 

"Take this and give it to him. He left it." I said and Adam followed my orders. 

"I'm going, ma'am. I'll be back in a minute." He said and I nod my head. 

After my chemotherapy session, I promise to visit the building we owned. I took sleeping pills to make myself browse and forget about his lame actions last night.
