My Bestie's Boyfriend is My Husband
Chapter 3
The next morning, Tim got up and went to work.
When I was half asleep and half awake, I felt Tim gently kissed the corner of my mouth. I felt like I was struck by lightning and turned my head away to express my rejection.
He didn't care. After making breakfast as usual, he left.
When I woke up, the dining table was filled with my favorite toast and milk, as well as some of my favorite desserts. I knew that they were made with great care.
But how could he be affectionate and talk sweetly with another woman the night before, and then meticulously prepare breakfast for me the next day?
My eyes darkened and I didn't eat any of the breakfast on the table. I threw them all into the trash can.
It made me sick.
In order to find out what had happened, without telling Tim in advance, I bought some noodles to bring to him.
As I walked to the door of the company, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion.
Ever since I married Tim, I had never been there again. I just enjoyed my leisure time every day.
I took a deep breath, knowing that I had a tough battle to fight. I straightened my hair, walked quickly into the company, and prepared to go directly to the top level to meet Tim.
But as soon as I entered the door, I was stopped by the receptionist at the door.
"Ma'am, you can't meet Mr. Martin without an appointment."
I rolled my eyes speechlessly.
"Come on, this is my father's company. I'm Tim's wife. I need to make an appointment in advance to meet him?"
I shot back strongly.
The receptionist seemed to have heard some joke and started to make sarcastic remarks to me.
"Such a crazy woman. She fantasizes that she is Mr. Martin's wife. If she is, what about Dora?"
"What? Dora. Tim, you really gave me a big surprise."
How did my best friend work in the company without my knowledge?
I ignored the receptionist and swiped my card to go to Tim's office through the VIP access.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that the moment I took out the card, the receptionist's face turned pale. His lips trembled and he couldn't utter a word.

After reaching the top floor, I heard Dora's coquettish voice first.
"No, Tim. We are at work now.
"No, no, Tim.
"Sally will be angry if you do this."
