My Best Friend Cried and Admitted Her Mistake
Chapter 2
"This has nothing to do with me, don't come to me for this!"
Jim Charlie waved his hand at me and the crowd, and directly left Leon Cooper with a disgraced face.
Leon Cooper also wanted to follow him, but I held onto her sleeve tightly.
She started to panic and begged me with a disdainful expression on her face.
"I need to go after my boyfriend now. Can I give it to you when I get back to the dormitory?"
"Don't worry, I'll give it back to you when I get back!"
"I’ll give it back to you, and I swear!"
Anyway, Leon Cooper would have to go back sooner or later. She could run, but couldn’t hide.
Seeing her being so tough, I also softened a bit.
I had a good relationship with Leon Cooper. We were from the same place and went to the same university, so naturally we had become closer.
Her family was not well-off, family basically doesn't care about her life and death because they prefer boys over girls as she had a younger brother in junior high school.
Therefore, she had been working part-time while studying to barely support her education, who could be considered as an inspirational figure.
Unfortunately, after dating a boyfriend, she seemed to have changed completely.
She even skipped classes and went out drinking and eating with her boyfriend, and even stayed out all night. I couldn't even find her all day.
It was all because Leon Cooper said that her boyfriend was her redemption, a ray of light in her dark life.
"Jim Charlie is the first person to treat me so well."
I could forget her bright eyes when she just started dating, filled with hope for the future.
I sighed and sympathized with her situation.
As I hesitated, my grip loosened.
Leon Cooper took the opportunity to break free from me and ran away.
I shook my head and wanted to forget it.
I'd be also ok when I asked her for it when Leon Cooper returned to the dormitory.
I didn't expect that I didn't receive the money I was waiting for.
The first news came from Leon Cooper, who had hemorrhea and was taken away by an ambulance.
The counselor came to the dormitory to tidy up some of Leon Cooper's things and reminded us not to spread them around.
I was surprised for a few days, and I didn't ask Leon Cooper for money at this critical moment.
After this ordeal, I sympathize with her.
But Leon Cooper didn’t deserve my sympathy.
During a public class, I couldn't hold on any longer and leaned against the back of the chair, feeling drowsy because I didn't get enough rest last night.
Suddenly, a person wearing a hat and a mask dashed into the classroom.
The teacher on the stage frowned with dissatisfaction.
"Hello, which class are you from? Do you know that you are already late?"
But he ignored the others and came straight towards me.
I was completely unaware, not realizing that danger was approaching.
Until a knife stabbed into my abdomen.
I saw Leon Cooper's eyes, bloodshot.
"It's all your fault, it's all your fault! I can never get pregnant again!"
"Why did you make me repay the money!"
"Why did you only give me such a small amount of money!"
"It's all your fault for giving me so little that I had to go to an illegal clinic! I can never be a mother!"
"Now you die!"
Leon Cooper crazily stabbed me several times before being pinned down by classmates.
I felt a sharp pain in my chest and quickly lost consciousness.
When I opened my eyes again, I found myself back to the moment when Leon Cooper called me for money.
I touched my intact chest and felt a surge of hatred.
Without my help, Leon Cooper wouldn't even be able to afford the abortion.
But she still wanted to harm me and put all the blame on me!
I couldn’t imagine how much pain my parents must have gone through when they saw their offspring died before the eldership.
In this life, I would make Leon Cooper pay blood for blood!
