Chapter 2

Just like that, Cathy had eaten this kind of food for a month, I was woken up by her loud cry of pain in the early morning.

Amara and I immediately came out to check. She covered her lower abdomen and fell at the door of the bathroom with a pale face. She clutched Amara's trouser leg in pain.

"Mom, my stomach hurts so much. Take me to the hospital as soon as possible."

Amara held Cathy in her arms, who was struggling in pain, and immediately retorted, "You don't need to go to hospital."

"The doctor in the hospital said that you are infertile, but you still want to rush to send them money? Listen to me, go back to the village to find Wizard Weaton now!"

After that, Amara grabbed Cathy's hand and dragged her from the sixth floor to the garage downstairs.

After driving for two to three hours, I heard Cathy's voice grow softer and softer as she endured the pain.

When we arrived at Wizard Weaton's house, Cathy had already fainted.

"Wizard Weaton, help me see what's wrong with my daughter."

Amara was anxious and she got off the car, went straight to the house, and invited Wizard Weaton.

Wizard Weaton's hair was disheveled, his robe was tattered, and his eyes were even blind.

Some said that it was because Wizard Weaton had opened his Third Eye that the immortal retracted his Mortal Eye.

But in fact, his eyes were blinded because he had been fooling around in my hometown and was be hurt by others.

Of course, Amara didn't know that Wizard Weaton in front of us was just a liar who had escaped from my hometown and lived for many years.

Wizard Weaton touched Cathy's tightly closed eyes, shook his head, and said, "This is her fate. I can't save her."

Amara screamed, knelt at the feet of Wizard Weaton, stuffed a sum of money into his hand, and begged,

"Wizard Weaton, please save her. The rest of my life depends on her!"

Wizard Weaton pinched the money and pretended to sigh in embarrassment. Then, he took out a piece of Yellow Paper and burned it into ashes, and mixed into water to Cathy.

In less than an hour, Cathy miraculously woke up.

Amara finally felt relieved. She kowtowed to Wizard Weaton three times and said with tears in her eyes, "This is the birth of an immortal. Wizard Weaton, thank you for saving my daughter's life!"

I stared coldly at the glass of water and the corners of my lips curled up.

I knew that Wizard Weaton had only soaked the Yellow Paper with veterinary antibiotics in advance.

At this moment, Cathy's reaction was the same as that of her previous life. She was at the early stage of being infected by parasites.

In my previous life, my husband died early. Before he died, he told me to take good care of Cathy and Amara.

Therefore, even though they treated my kindness as malice, I still sent Cathy to the hospital at the critical moment.

I spent money to buy medicine for her, but the first thing she did when she recovered was repay my kindness with ingratitude and beat me to death.

I wanted to see how long she could live without my help in this life.

Before leaving, Amara spent a lot of money to ask Wizard Weaton when Cathy would get pregnant.

Wizard Weaton stroked his beard and pretended to be mysterious. "This is fate. As long as you take the Water for a long time, it will definitely bless your children and grandchildren."

As soon as he said that, Amara began to spend money again. She emptied all her savings and brought back a pile of waste paper to eat with seed meal.

One day, when I went downstairs to buy groceries, I saw Amara stepping on a stinky pond in the park in water shoes.

She bent down and grabbed bullfrogs like a maggot.

I slowly approached her from behind. Pretending to be careless, I kicked her back.

"Ouch!"

Amara immediately fell to the ground and buried her whole face in the stinky pond. She immediately struggled to get up and scolded before she could see anyone clearly,

"Which bitch is blind? Believe it or not, I'll blackmail you to death!"

"Amara?"

Looking at her muddy mouth, I tried hard to hold back my laughter and said innocently, "I'm sorry, Amara. I slipped and accidentally bumped into you."

"Look at you walking around in the park. I thought there were wild boars in the park."

Amara's wrinkled face was covered with mud. She grimaced and scolded me.

"You fool, I'll beat you to death the next time you go out without eyes!"

I quickly said, "Yes." Then I turned to look at her empty basket and asked her if she could pick it up now because Cathy had been eating bullfrogs a lot at home recently.

Amara looked at me warily, for fear that I would covet the bullfrogs.

I smiled indifferently and said sincerely, "The bullfrogs in this pond are small. You have to go to the narrow ditch next to it. The bullfrogs there are the most delicious and nutritious."

"Since they are all supplements, of course, we have to give Cathy the best."

After that, Amara looked at the stinking ditch, and her eyes were immediately filled with surprise as if she had seen a treasure. She laughed excitedly.

"There are so many bullfrogs. Why are the bullfrogs in this ditch so big?"

I smiled silently.

This stinking ditch was connected to a public toilet. What lived in it was not bullfrogs, but toads.

The toad that was nourished by feces was, of course, big and fat.

I watched her grab the toad that was covered in feces with her bare hands. Her face was full of wrinkles, and my stomach was churning.
