Love's Demise: No Chance of Resurrection
Chapter 6
She looked as noble as a white swan, who didn't fit in with the filthy basement at all.
"It's stuffy here."
She covered her nose with her hands, feeling very disgusted.
A bodyguard immediately came over and brought a chair for her.
Then someone dragged me in front of her.
I looked at her coldly. "What are you doing here?"
She crossed her legs with a smile. "Of course, I am here to laugh at you."
I was puzzled. "I remember that I have never offended you."
Hearing my words, she looked like she heard a huge joke.
"You didn't offend me?"
She kicked me hard in the chest.
"If you hadn't suddenly appeared, I would have married Alex a long time ago. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have gone abroad, been humiliated by others, and pregnant.
"This is all because of you!"
I didn't understand what this had to do with me.
This marriage was arranged by Alex's grandfather.
Since they loved each other, why didn't Alex refuse his grandfather?
I thought he didn't refuse because he liked me, so I also agreed.
Was this my fault?
"I didn't force you to go abroad, to be humiliated, or to get pregnant. Why are you blaming me?"
Nancy slapped me twice, and her gentle face turned ferocious. "It's your fault. All this is because of you!
"I'll make you feel the pain I've gone through!"
After saying this, she returned to her usual calm and elegance.
She straightened her messy hair as if the person who was so arrogant just now was not her.
She stood up and said to the eight bodyguards present, "You've worked hard these days. I will give her to you as a reward."
I opened my eyes wide. "How dare you! I am Alex's fiancée!"
